I called Sirius NBA Radio and CJ happened to be on. Told him I was a big fan, have the Blazers tattoo on my leg, been to 26 arenas and was panicking about our free fall. He commending me for my dedication and said not to worry. We were only one possession away in recent losses against good teams. Of course he's gonna say that but it's still good to hear. When I called, I didn't know CJ would be on. He came on when I was on hold. I wonder what the host would've said if CJ wasn't on.

Did you ask him if you could take him out for dinner sometime at a nice restaurant?

CJ was the host. He has his own show every Thursday on Sirius.

Did you mention that Kingspeed is not happy with the team right now?

This doesn't pass the sniff test. Why would one randomly call a radio station without actually listening to said radio station at the time of their communicational outreach?

Kingspeed should have told him about the time he slept with a NBA player.

I don't think they were sleeping. At least that's not how I heard the story.

I was listening to NBA Radio. They were taking callers. I called in with the intention of asking the host what he thought of the Blazers. When you call these shows, a producer off air asks you what you want to talk about. I told him my worries about the BlaZers. He told me I would be on after the first break of the next hour and put me on hold. While on hold, I could hear the radio broadcast. At 3pm, CJ came onto the show to answer questions. So, once I was finally put on, I got to talk to CJ.

I never said that. SlyPokerDog wrote that headline and merged two of my threads.

Quite serendipitous KS. I dig CJ. Of course, I'm a fellow Patriot Leaguer, but I still love his game. I really thought the jump in competition level and the late start to the season would mess with him, but he's adjusted more quickly than I thought.

I think he's going to be our Vinnie Johnson, and will be a huge help to Lillard in terms of reducing his minutes.
