    Wow... that's bullshit.

The argument that increasing the pace increases injury seems rebuked by how Oregon has stayed relatively healthy since they increased the tempo. I'll be sorely disappointed if this goes through. I wonder how the big TV money feels about this proposal as thats where the power lies

Saban is a tool. He doesn't like that his style is becoming obsolete and he's going to the NCAA to fix it.

Maybe the NCAA should consider a rule that disallows the SEC from paying players.

    Let's hope so. Absurd notion.

Some heavy hitters have come out against the rule. They're even calling it the "Saban rule."

What a douche he must be to want to change all of football to help himself.

I also assume Bielema is against the SEC title game, and would hold his players out of an extra playoff game, too.

This turd was whining as far back as before the Rose Bowl against Oregon. Now he's 0-8 in the SEC in his first season, and tries to use an offseason death and sickle-cell anemia as an excuse to try and let his 330lb fat slobs on defense have an advantage.

Nice to know that neither Saban nor the SEC fully runs the NCAA.

    ???

along with a decided majority of D1 coaches across the country, SEC coaches Spurrier & Malzahn came out publicly against this proposal. Of course Auburn runs exactly the type of speed offense that Saban was hoping to legislate against.

Saban is a coward. When he gets beaten by several times, he runs to the NCAA like a baby
