I will drop to the floor and LMAO 7 times if someone takes the future of Bassy over the future of Livingston. We have had topics about Shaun Livingston before: he has the potential, size, and athleticism to become a top player in the entire NBA in his prime. If he adds some more muscle and continues to work hard, he will be a perennial All-Star.

EDIT: As of right now, Bassy gets a little edge (but not much). But if this topic is about potential, forget about it - Livingston all day.

I'll say Livingston now. I've never been a big fan of Telfair, but he did have it pretty good getting to Boston, until what transpired this past week. (I think the Celtics should start West instead.)Livingston is a tall guy, that is improving more and more each season. I'm looking forward to seeing this guy play more in upcoming years as a future starter.

I'll take Livingston now, Livingston in the future. He has a rare talent. a 6'7 true point guard doesn't come along too often. not to mention that livingston has some of the best vision and passing skills in the league already.

As most of you know, I will take Livy over just about every young point guard in the league. I think he's going to be great in this league. Gotta love his height and vision. I think he just brings a lot to the game and makes it easier for his teammates to score when in the game. Just needs to work on the jumper and getting a bit stronger. I'd even take him over Devin Harris of the Mavs and he's one of my favourites.

I say livingston he makes so many miss matches all day. bring them inside or out side dont get my wrong Telfair is good though I just think that Livingston is a great player and he is going to continue to get better each season. And I have not heard anything off of the court incident's with Livingston, believe Telfair was in a fight with Rapper "Fabolous". Correct me if im wrong. Livingston has a brighter future in this game than Telfair.

You are wrong. Wow.. I HATE false rumors! Telfair did not get into a fight AT ALL with Fabolous. 4 guys put a gun to Telfair's head and stole his chain, then 2 hours later Fabolous was shot in the leg outside that same place (and it's speculated that the same people that took Bassy's chain, shot Fabolous). Wow people stretch things so far.

Definately Livingston, he has more potential because of his size and he does a lot more little things than Bassy does. Livingston brings rebounds and matchup problems at the point position. He also has great vision of the court and when he develops a consisten jumper can be an amazing point gaurd in this league. I love Sebastian's quickness and he will work with that into his defense. That will make him a good player but Livingston's upside is way better.

Sebastian Telfair is the most overrated PG (in terms of potential) in the NBA, period. I watched Shaun Livingston take over for Sam Cassell in the playoffs last year late in a couple of games. The guy is such a mismatch, it's ridiculous. He needs to get a lot stronger, he's never going to be big enough to please scouts because he just like Tayshaun Prince has a long/skinny frame and can't gain weight. Livingston from what I saw needs to finish a lot stronger, last year he would slink and slide to the hoop with little effort and then finish weak which results in missed shots. He has to get mentally tougher as well. But the skys the limit.

and what justification do you have for that? Telfair is lightning quick with tons of heart, and he's developing an outside shot. he's a hell of an offensive player, he has a lote of potential.

Telfair's attitude disqualifies him to me. When he grows up and realizes he's an adult and needs to act accordingly, we'll talk.Livingston.

Telfair doesn't act like a child, I don't know what you are getting at. Wait, I know the whole reason why you said this - BECAUSE OF THE FALSE RUMORS REGARDING THE INCODENT LAST WEEK. Am I right? Because he is not being investegated for the shooting at all. People, TELFAIR was robbed, he was not the bad guy. He's a good kid, he works very hard, and he has a good head on his shoulders.

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Now don't be a jackass here budy. I said if I was wrong correct me don't be a smart ***.</div>
I wasn't, I was simply telling you the facts. I didn't call you names or anything (like you did to me), all I did was say "You are wrong." because you are the one who said "correct me if I'm wrong." And I added the "wow" in there because it's very frustrating when people give a guy crap for something he didn't do, even after the NYPD have come out and said pubilicly that Telfair had absolutely nothing to do with the shooting. Especially after the info you stated, that he got into a fight with Fabolous. I don't know where you got that information, but that's so off it's not even funny.

Guys, stop giving Bassy a bad rap. He did nothing wrong, and he's a good kid.

I somewhat agree with some of BCB's comments, Telfair is a little overrated in terms of potential, for a player that is as quick as he is dashing in and out of the paint he should get more assists at the point guard position. Last night against the Nets he showed he could dish the ball, I hope he continues to do that because he hasn't in his first two years in the league. Hopefully playing along side a superstar like Paul Pierce will steer him in the right direction.
