<span style="font-family:Book Antiqua">I don't see why gay people can't have marriages... They do have the same rights as we, heterosexuals, do. I recently gave a speech in my Forensics & Debate class about how gay people have the same rights. I got an A on that speech; pretty good, don't you think?Anyway, I am nowhere near gay, but I believe homosexuals should be treated just like heterosexuals; gay marriage should be legal! End of story.</span>

Personaly Im against it, but there are certan things you can and cant argue, and one of those "cants" ishomosexual people should have the same rights as heterosexual. Like I said, I dont like it, but this is a free country according to the laws, and I have to respect that.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BrewCityBuck @ Oct 25 2006, 04:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>http://apnews.myway.com/article/20061025/D8KVS3P00.html When are people going to realize that this won't hold up in court. This country's courts are not run by Jesus. It will start falling in many states.</div>That was uncalled for

How so? Some people are going to be outraged over this, because in the bible homosexuality is wrong...etc...etc...when they are forgetting that we live by a constitution as well.

with the exception of Utah the courts in this country aren't run by any religion, and it should be that way. living under a theocracy would suck. look at the Middle East, a lot of governments there are theocratic and for the most part its still living in a darkage.

pretty much it is, but short of being the meth capitol of the universe crime here is really low, and the stardard of living is pretty high. actually if you did away with the hierachy that seems to run this state it would be a great place. its just that a few control everything.

Sometimes it feels that way. the state/territory of Utah has either totally succeeded or partial succeeded for the US three time. but this isn't the only state thats like that, Texas is worse and sometimes refers to itself as another country. California is similar to Texas, except LA is in its own little universe.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Not ran by religion, but for the gonverment to have religion in mind.</div>So you basically want all three branches of the government run by George Bush? anytime a country gets completly ruled by a government with religion in mind person freedoms and human rights get stomped on.
