Only one (1) other player in the HISTORY of baseball have at least 3000 hits, 250 home runs, 300 stolen bases and 1,200 RBI in his career. That other player is.....Willie Mays. Pretty good company. With 120 more hits he'll pass hall of famers Paul Molitor, Carl Yazstremski, Honus Wagner, & Cap Anson into 6th place on the ALL TIME hit list. And with 74 more runs scored he will surpass Tris Speaker, Lou Gehrig, Alex Rodriquez & Stan Musial to take 9th on that list. Not to mention that only Pete Rose & Ichiro have had more 200 hit seasons. Yeah......................................he's really over-rated.
Yes. But also keep in mind that that particular troll, and his multiple screen names, was merely playing role to antagonize the folks that took things way too seriously. Most of that Meter criticism was bait, nothing more. Now if you go back to the Sox fans and the Garciapara days (and Tejada for that matter) then they were just lying through their teeth because they secretly wished Meter was their guy. lol!
