The problem is that he's a fan favorite. Not so much here, but the kids like him. As for me, I'm tired of a team full of grit and short on talent.

My beef is he stopped a TON of those headed into the Olympics because, like most Europeans, they get more excited to play/win in the Olympics and look at the NHL as a way to make money.

Resigning this dope Callahan will be a huge mistake. Resigning Swedish queen and Girardi was a big mistake as well. This core of players has won NOTHING, since they've been here and it will continue as long as they are here. You guys say, get this guy and this guy. Wont matter much as long as this ownership and that old has-been GM is here.

I'm worried about the defense in front of him. they were extremely bad in front of him through the last 40 minutes. It's about time this team started giving Hank the help he deserves. He didn't play great, but he deserved a much better performance from his team the entire weekend.

Physical teams give the Rangers problems. Why does this shock anyone?

Good point mess and you can add physical teams really really really give our defense a hard time especially strahlman and moore who look like they'd rather be scratched than be out there against the flyers and bruins. Big Mac is ready and its time to bring his big ass up here and implement him into the group. He scored a beautiful goal yesterday that I had to watch a few times to make sure it was him. And with the liberties teams are starting to take with Mcdonagh with the cheap shots after the whistle and with Girardi being no deterrent I'd partner big mac up with him and let staal and girardi team up again as they did inn the past. Time for the modern day version of leetch and beukaboom.

Doesn't shock me. In fact, I expect it. Claude Julien facing the Rangers has to be like a night off. Good coaches do not have to do anything special to beat the Rangers, just hit them, lean on them and wear them down. You could see the Rangers beginning to wear down 5 minutes into the 2nd period. The best opportunity to win was in the 1st period where they wasted scoring chance after scoring chance. Everybody says they need another scorer, and while I don't disagree, I think they need to get bigger and stronger first. I like Boyle, but I also believe that somebody with his size needs to be more of a physical force. He should be able to go to the front of the net, and be hard to move ... And man, learn how to defend yourself. I'm just disgusted with this team, from Dolan all the way down. I like Callahan, but I think it would be a mistake to resign him at any price. Get the missing pieces in New York that make the other players better. Grit is nice, but not when it's 80% (could be a low figure) of your team. It's only a matter of time until a scorer takes a cheap shot and has to miss time, and their is nobody on this team who can watch there back. Carcillo is nice to have around, and is not afraid to drop the gloves, but he's more of a gnat than an enforcer. Okay, just a rant ...

The shorthanded goal they gave up, was like everybody was leaving the ice at the same time. The Bruins were just going to dump the puck, but when they got no pressure from anybody in a Ranger jersey it was like they said "okay, I'll take it" ... Paying fans should have been asking for there money back.

baseball is a game of inches, hockey seems to be a game of how the puck bounces, we compete, i like this team alot, we can beat anyone, we could lose to anyone, JUST GET IN!
