    Stockpile some picks

Hope Stepan quits playing like a puss

Hope Lundqvist bounces back from an off year

Dump Callahan for what you can he is not a 6m player let alone 7m

Dump Boyle for whatever you can get

    Extend Pouliot and Brassard

Buyout Richards and use the money on Statsny since he is 5 years younger

Try to get St Louis at the draft

Hope to god that McIlrath is ready next year

There are some positives....Talbot emergence. Girardi and McD are locked up for 5+ years at $10m yr. Nash still playing like a puss but he has scored some goals. Kreider has regressed but started strong. Zuc line has been one of best 3rd lines in NHL past 2 months. Staal has come back strong

Try to get more size and offensive skill on the team next year and go for it for while Hank is 33

Kreider has really regressed since that boarding major. It looks like it has out doubt into him about using his body and size to his advantage.

Nash needs a real center. Id try and deal Boyle for the best pick they can get, maybe somebody will bite for a 4th rounder. Its time to see what Lindberg can do.

The Rangers are light year faster than the Bruins. However, in order to match up against Boston you need at least 3 to 4 players with significant toughness. That is why McIlrath is so important. However, the 3rd and 4th line need some forwards who can actually play and have some size and toughness. That isn't easy to find. I told Chuck the window isn't this year. This team is not a legit contender. It's really time they dump Boyle and Stralman. Hopefully they can package them together for a rugged wing prospect who is NHL ready. I'd love to see them pull of a deal for King on the Kings. He's exactly the type of wing we need.

You are awesome dump. You told Chuck. I HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR MONTHS WE ARE NOT A LEGIT SC TEAM THIS SEASON.

Our window is the next two seasons IMO. After we have a summer where a lot of this dead weight is gone, and we can re-shape the team how we want. We should do everything we can to help the next two seasons and build a team that can win the cup over that timeframe. That should be the 100% focus, and I have said that for weeks also.

I'll tell you something else...DO NOT RE-SIGN CALLY FOR 6 MILL OR MORE PER.

If we do 6/36 it will be a disaster. The guy is not a 6 mill per player. Just get rid of him Glen. We don't need a guy who goes 22 goals 45 points making 6 mill per.

If we can get a solid return for him, deal him now. If we cannot, hold him and just let him walk this summer. We'll get the cap space at least. But PLEASE do not compound things by caving and giving a 5 mill player 6 mill or more per.

How is Cally worth more than 1st pair dman Girardi...HE IS NOT.

Please don't do it Glen. Get rid of the guy. He has made it clear money is # 1. Not winning or staying a Ranger. So please deal him or just let him walk this summer.

    NO DUMB DEAL FOR CALLY.

I couldn't believe when i heard one of the studio guys say last night that Callahan is a 'rare' player, when in reality hes just a very hard worker. I think it was Keith Jones.

I would try and send Dorsett or Boyle with a solid pick or prospect for someone like Setoguchi or Stempniak who can at least help the rest of this year. Moss from Phoenix even for 4th line help.

The only thing rare about cally is he may become the first 6 million dollar player based on smoke and mirrors. He needs to go at the deadline. And no reason to keep big mac down on the farm any longer. Bring the kid up and get him in the lineup already.

Hope the fans booing the rangers off the ice gets slats off his fishing boat and his fingers dialing and clearing out some of the dead bodies here. I agree with whoever made the comment Kreids hasn't thrown a big hit since that bogus call that gave him a game misconduct. Av needs to go tell him go back to knocking the shit out of everyone and don't worry about the god damn refs.

Sounds like Hemsky or maybe Smyth are on the radar now. Either one for an expiring contract and a 2nd or 3rd might work. Smyths net presence might be even more valuable than Hemskys skill.

If re-signing Cally for 6/36-6/39 is our only move of real substance, Sather should walk out the door on Thursday, hop on his plane to Palm Springs, and NEVER EVER come back to NY or the Rangers again.

What a disgrace that would be.

We don't have alot of top end prospects but the depth is good enough to package someone with a 2nd or 3rd for somebody who can help the 4th line.

Is that where we are at? Helping the 4th line. Just wow. I hope we can do something a little more impactful than that. Guess we'll find out.

I only say that because who are they going to subtract from the top 6 if they don't deal Stepan? Callahan won't bring back more than a 3rd liner. The roster is too jammed to fit a top end player unless Stepan goes. I'm not even sure where they'd fit Hemsky or Smtyh. The 3rd is set with Poul/MZA/Brassard but the 4th can be improved getting rid of any of Moore/Dorsett/BB.

Hemsky and Smyth while not really the answer, are not 4th line guys. I would guess 2nd line, but truth be told are they really that much better/different than what we have? Another 15-20 goal guy I guess.

Hemsky's not but I think at this point Smyth might be able to, or maybe you switch Hagelin down there.
