<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>As a result, here are my top 10 players with the most to fear from the new "Zero Tolerance" edict:10. Allen Iverson, Sixers Tattooed cartoon-character-like little guy is no laughing matter to zebras, who rang him up 13 times a year ago.9. Tyson Chandler, Hornets As one NBA assistant coach said of this lanky forward: "He'll be getting [teed up] even when he's on the bench."8. Kobe Bryant, Lakers His 15 technicals a year ago ranked second only to 'Sheed's 19 for most in the NBA. Argues more passionately than a Hollywood divorce lawyer.7. Dwyane Wade, Heat Quiet and humble off the court, the star guard does a surprising amount of complaining. Of course, Mavs fans don't want to hear about it.6. Manu Ginobili, Spurs Frequent flopper is used to European-style theatrics. Loves to use those quick hands to gesticulate.5. Danny Fortson, Sonics Dreadlocked forward has the most volatile temper of any NBA player outside of Detroit. Plus, he can't keep his mouth shut.4. Kurt Thomas, Suns Always has a slightly crazy look on his face, and refs seem to notice. If he so much as looks at them funny, they ring him up.3. Kenyon Martin, Nuggets Surly big man has matured in recent years, but this K-Mart is guaranteed to get nickel and dimed.2. Antoine, Walker, Heat There's a reason his mug appears several times in the video sent out by the league to teams to explain the new edict.1. Rasheed Wallace, Pistons 'Nuf said.</div>I hate the new rules, david stern please do us a favor and step down...http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Ain8...cnnsi&type=lgnsI really dont like the 0 tolerance thing..
I don't agree if it's not often. But if you're bitching about every little thing like tim duncan and sheed, then they should be punished. And the flopping needs to stop. If you tapped Gino on the shoulder, he'd go flying against a wall.
No doubt that Rasheed will fall victim to this new policy, and I doubt he will care if they do T him up. Sheed plays and acts like he does because that is who he is. Some stupid new rule won't change the way he is.
I think calling it "communism" and comparing Stern to Castro is very extreme. I think the rule is a good idea...what good is arguing going to do to the game, beside delaying it?
There is way to much whining with the refs that goes on in the NBA, the players are just so used to it that they think they have the right to pause the game while they bi*ch at the refs for 30 seconds. I like the rule a lot actually. There are a lot of immature players in this league who bi*ch at the refs way to much. Sheed ring up the $$$ this year with that rule and I hope down in Miami Toine will stop his pouting and putting on his cry baby face bitching at the refs whenever he gets called for a foul.
I'm sick and tired of people bitching at David Stern for the rules he makes. He's trying to clean up the sport and make it somewhat respectable and all you people do is act like David Stern is some Jewish version of Hitler hellbent on ruining the sport he owns with ridiculous rules. Grow up.
alright then how about his rule about you cant tear off your warmup pants on the court.. thats so goddamn ridiculous... dressing in suits to games? what the hell is he trying to prove? to make it professional? Screw that, my little brother tears off his warmups on the court, its not like its affecting the game itself. Thats completely unnecessary bullsh**.
Haha yeah, KG is stupid. Castro? Give me a break. It's a good rule and hopefully will make games go by faster.Things stern has done this offseason alone to improve the NBA:New Ball0 Tolerance RuleLess timeouts late in game and in OTNew seeding format for playoffs
Guys are getting techs for looking at refs now and its so dang pathetic. I hate this rule also, it's like no matter how much the refs suck they NBA will never address their refereeing problem and always look at the players as the problem. This is just another way for officials to take over the game and I bet more than 5 players will get suspended atleast 1 game because of getting over 16 techs.

I love the suit rule, players back in the heyday didn't need that rule because they knew how to act and dress. Today's players act like they can wear whatever they want and go to a game in their pajamas. That's ridiculous. Wear a suit, enhance the image that your actually going to a job, rather then bed. And don't tell me basketball is not a job, this isn't a gym or your driveway their playing and getting paid at. It's a professional job, and most jobs carry a dress code. On the the zero tolerance rule. It's needed, I'm tired of watching games and players constantly whine because a call didn't go their way. Bottom line, I've said it before, whining does nothing to change a ref's decision. Don't get a call your way, get over it and continue playing. Watching players who complain to a ref while a game is in session is ridiculous. Your team is playing 4 on 5 for that instance you felt to let your words out. The rule should lead to better, needed changes in the game.

Their dress code is a jersey and shorts. What's the big deal about taking off your warmups on the court? It doesn't harm anyone.

I don't understand the not being able to take off warmups on the court though. Can't figure that out...
haha nice im in your cubs bandwagon, I love thatanyways, yeah the rule is pointless .. that is a new rule though right? if not, someone correct me because im not 100% sure but I thought I heard it on PTI
Yeah the rule is like if you complain enough, you get Ts and/or kicked out.So crackdown on sheed and TD.

If that comes to an end, I will be a happy man.

They can tell them to dress however they'd like. If they decide to make them dress up like clowns to appeal more to children, then so be it. If they don't like it, they could go do something else. There's nothing wrong with trying to make a proper image for the NBA (especially with the crap that's been going on with some of these guys being involved in shootouts).
