2nd best C in Bulls history. Maybe 3rd.

Certainly Gilmore was elite. So was Thurmond, but he was Nazr's age by the time he played for us.

I always was a Cartwright fan. He's got 3 rings.

I liked Bill C. too. His sharp elbows were registered weapons.

Joakim Noah records another triple-double as Bulls down Pistons

The Chicago Bulls didn't get a great night from their starters Wednesday. Their backups made sure they didn't need one.

Reserves D.J. Augustin and Taj Gibson combined for 48 points on 18-of-30 shooting as the Bulls beat the Detroit Pistons 105-94 for their fifth win in six games. The Bulls only led by one point going into the fourth, but Augustin and Gibson had 20 of Chicago's 34 in the fourth.

If Noah plays a key role on a Bulls title team, he'll jump to #1 immediately. It won't be a unanimous opinion, but so few are.

Even if he never wins a title, he can still become the consensus #1 if he remains with the Bulls through his prime, the team continues to make the playoffs each season and he makes another couple all star teams.
