Man, I'd treat ya to dinner if you'd be cool with like a Whopper Jr. and some fries haha... I'm living broke as a joke right now, got a lot of loans tied up in my future,... hopefully that pays off, but this time next year, I'll probably be in Nola if you want some home microwaved Chef Boyardee haha

    View from my hotel room:

[IMG] didn't take any from there when the river was already green though, was already getting blitz'd by then. And Aldridge was on that bus by himself, rest of the team already was at the United Center.

bump. Last year, it was on Sunday, didn't do shit. Its on Monday this year.....don't think I'll take the day off or celebrate. You have to really start drinking early in the AM or its not really worth it.

Have a buddy from one of our supplying wineries in town staying with the family. He arrives the day before. He's never been to Portland so I'll show him around and we'll party properly.

It's my Dad's birthday. My brothers and I (and any other family members that can make it) get together every year for Irish Car Bombs and beer in his memory. Taking Tuesday off so I can do it up right.

Probably keeping it local. I usually let the two of them decide where we go. I'd be all over heading north if that's what they want to do...

My grandmother on Dad's side was a full-blooded Murphy, one generation removed from Ireland. IIRC, Grandpa was mostly German with at least one Irishman in his ancestry a generation or two back. Mom's parents were mostly Scottish, but both had some Irish in them. Now that I'm thinking about it, my Mom is doing some ancestry research, I think I'll get together with her and try to do the math...

    And we LOVE beer, lol...

Not as much as one might think. A lot of time is spent trying to dodge people who probably can't spell "bombs" though...
