    5 of 8 episodes in now I think this has a chance to be the best short/mini TV series of all time (any future seasons will have different story, cast, director). Just the planning of all the subtle things going on must have taken months. Plus Mcconaughey likely frontrunner for Emmy now.

    I thought it started a little slow but the last 3 episodes have been really good.

    It's not meant to be like a Stallone movie. More intricately plotted intellectual. A bunch of character development and plot setup is going to be necessary in a show like this.

    At no point did it feel like I was watching a tv show. Only 2 episodes in, this show is a masterpiece in the making if it keeps up.

    holy meh. confrontation was ok if a little derivative, but didn't need the hokey contrived feel good ending. really out of place for the series and pretty much of ruined it for me.
