P.J. Tucker is to Patrick Beverley the same that Blake Griffin is to Damian Lillard. If the NBA wants a bunch of Tuckers and Beverleys getting away with fouling opposing stars on every play, then keep at it. I'd rather see Lillard not to have to deal with a hockey goon who wears a god-damned mask so he can get away with even more flops when he "breaks" his nose.

Tucker played in summer league in 2013 at the age of 28. Smart by Hornacek, if getting a goon was the goal.

I would have done the same thing Tucker did if Griffin fell on top of me like that. It was plain to see what Griffin was doing.

Griffin punched him back. Should be a double-ejection.

At some point, the star player needs to assert his dominance against a scrub. Tucker and Beverley are scrubs. Griffin and Lillard aren't scrubs.

Tucker isn't very talented at all, but he's found a niche in the league as a starter for a playoff contending team. Can you really blame a guy for finding a place in the league and earning a good living.

Tucker and Beverley are different IMO. Beverly is out to injure players (like Westbrook). Tucker was fighting for position for a loose ball and Griffin didn't like it so he tried some judo style shit resulting in a bow to the face.

Griffin is grating. I'm surprised you'd compare Griffin's shenanigans to anything Lillard does to be honest.

The Blazers could use a guy like Tucker

He makes up for his lack of talent with energy and toughness. Guys like him are always underrated/overlooked.

Andrew Bynum will make his Pacers' debut tonight against the Celtics.

Man, if he can give them 10 - 12 solid minutes a night backing up Hibbert, he'll give Indy the boost to get back on top. They've been looking really tired lately, and the Evan Turner/Danny Granger trade hasn't paid any benefits. They got Bynum for free. He only seems to play well when he's on a team contending for a championship. So, Philly and Cleveland were horrible destinations for him. If he can get a little fire back, Indy could be very tough in the playoffs. If not, they aren't any worse off than before they signed him.

Geez. Bynum has 8 points and 10 rebounds in 15 minutes. Why didn't we sign him?

Harden flops himself into a flagrant foul on Adams. I really hate watching that guy.

It would be hilarious if the league suddenly started penalizing every Rocket flop in the playoffs all of a sudden. They probably make them too much money though.

If the Rockets/Thunder play each other in the playoffs its must see TV. Those teams hate each other. Same with Warriors/Clippers.

As the season goes along the worse Oden is moving.

I think he's honestly on the Jeff Withey tier of centers now.

Carmelo Anthony and Houston Rockets is a bad idea. If this is is Houston idea on how to improve. They are thinking about it the wrong way. Nic Batum would be a better fit for them chemistry wise than Carmelo.

BTW, I'm not suggesting we trade Nic to Houston.

He doesn't even in training camp forum. Looks not close to NBA game shape, he might look better towards playoffs but I doubt he will show anything other then backup center talent. The big thing will be if he stays healthy the rest of the year and then is able to play 15-20m a game next year. If so then he will get paid at the end of next year.
