If T-Mac can stay healthy, he is a top 5 player in this league. So, considering the fact that McGrady is 100% right now, I am going to take him. I do think Melo is going to have a great year, but T-Mac simply has a much better all-around game.

- Melo is a very good scorer, T-Mac is a better one
- Melo is clutch, T-Mac is just as clutch
- Melo is a better defender
- T-Mac is a better rebounder
- T-Mac is a better passer
- T-Mac is a better ballhandler
- T-Mac is more athletic

So, all Melo really has on McGrady is defense, and even then it's not THAT wide of a margin.

T-Mac > Melo

I have to agree. I do think that everyone is overestimating the Worlds - While there is some good teams out there Melo still played against some lackluster teams as well. I know he was the U.S's best player but they lost- so It isn't a big of an achievement as everyone is making out.

The U.S. team lost, yes, but you can't take Melo's performance away from him because of that. That's crazy. Carmelo was great in FIBA and he played well every game, played defense too, and he was the only player on the team who was consistant. We lost, but don't take Melo's wonderful play away from him.

I'm not taking his play away from him. Just pointing out he was the best player on a losing team. That is a bit different from being the best player on a winning team.

Dumb, dumb comparison. Tmac is the better scorer, rebounder, defender, passer, driver, etc..TMac is just the easy choice, and he's on a whole 'nother level than Melo.

T-Mac is a better overall player, but Melo can post up. Tracy doesn't really need any post up skill considering all other aspects of his game. McGrady FTW.

I think T-Mac can come back strong, but Melo will have an edge, seeing how he may be influenced by critics claiming he's nothing compared to LBJ & DWade.
