Is it time to give Patty Mills some important minutes?

He's been such an inspiring force off the court and he has helped us win some games on the court. Maybe it's time to throw him into the series and see if he can make an impact like CJ did in Game 3. We could use his shooting and it will give something different for Dallas to deal with. Give Patty a chance, Nate!

He should play for 5 minutes or so instead of Rudy.

The only guys who need to play more are Camby and/or Johnson. When our small team can't score, there's no point to going small in the first place.

If his minutes come at the expense of Rudy then sure.

He shouldn't take anyone else's minutes though.

Further, he should only be in the game when Berea is in the game so Dallas can't take advantage of Patty's height.

Patty Mills? Only if we are waiving the white flag.

What we need is Greg Oden. Or any decent big man who is willing to put some wood on someone. Barring that, and considering the referees utter lack of accountability, I do believe we are screwed.

We could seriously use Patty Mills by now only if we resigned him.
He was one of the worst decisions the front office and Paul Allen ever did.
    I miss this guy.

I loved Patty. I was sad to see him go. The Blazer TV where he would talk to people on the street was funny. I also knew he would turn out to be a good backup PG. I'd rather have him than Mo.

Paul Allen is the only reason Patty stuck around as long as he did. PA refused to let POR Brass cut him at least twice. Unfortunately the 3rd time he got out of the way and let the other decision makers do their job. I wish he would have held firm just a little while longer.

Chad Buchanan was in charge, right? If Nolan/Elliot/Babs weren't first round picks, we might have kept Patty.

This. Everyone loved Patty Mills. Most would have kept him. That thread was 3 years ago. He was not at that time the same impact player he is today. Life if full of "ifs"....

Does that incompetent asshat still head our scouting division? Or did we finally hand him his walking papers?

Pretty much every single player in the league is a better player when Gregg Popovich is their head coach. I loved Patty, but he's developed by leaps and bounds under Pop. That likely wouldn't have happened under Nate. However, he probably would have been a nice offensive spark under Stotts in the Mo Williams/CJ McCollum role, just with worse defense.
