J-Will lately has been slowed down a lot with knee problems and GP is still a solid backup, but no more. Also, we still don't have a legit backup at SG.</div>Oh, not the best, I agree. But they aren't one of the worst either.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Im sorry, but no...he isnt. He looks nice stat wise but his decisions are horrible. He has skills to be a steve nash but hes just dumb. And hes a HUGE off-court hazard.</div>If you have read my posts, you know that I hate talking about stats. J-Will's decision making has gotten 15x better than when he was in Sacramento, and he's played much smarter in Miami than he did in Memphis, because he is in a system where he doesn't have to dominate the ball. And as far as off-court issues are concerned, he's been good in Miami. He is a good player, he knows the game, and he just wants to win. He wasn't a negative influence in the locker room in Miami, in fact he really kind of kept his mouth shut.

Dude, tell me if youve ever seen him before..He is a great defender, and good offensive player. Youre retarded if you think we have one of the worst guard rotations. Also, Mo Pete will be playing SG when needed. Fred Jones has averaged like 15 ppg in pre-season, and should chip in 12 off the bench. Jose Calderon is an above average backup pg imo. He is avery good passer. And TJ Ford is lightning quick, a great passer, etc..</div>How come whenever someone has a negative opinion on the Raptors you call them retarded? Honestly, if you want people to take you seriously and respect you and your opinions then grow up and respect them, it is getting very old and VERY annoying.I think the Pistons are top 3, and the X Factor is Lindsey Hunter. Allen Iverson calls Lindsey the best man on man defender IN THE LEAGUE, Kobe says he is top 3. Coming from the best little guard of all time that is a huge compliment, as well as one of the best to play the game.
Bobby Jackson and Earl boykins are above average back-up point guards... JOse calderon is a average. But I do acknowledge his skill numbers and potential.Shaun livingston or cassell which ever is benched is a above average backup PG.Fred jones is good and can get better if he startsFord is very good-but lets not get tooo happy over injury boy.Calderon- as stated aboveright now Mopete is the Starting SF. lets keep him out the guard rotation Anthony Parker- nothing too impressive yet. must wait

You also wonder why your not a mod... TJ Ford is not as good as you think. He's lightning quick, but is not a good defender, and doesn't have a reliable jumper. Anthony Parker may have a rough time translating over to the NBA. He is still very talented, but the road to success could be rough. Pre-Season doesn't mean anything, you said it yourself in the NBA Pick'em Section. Fred Jones scores 15 ppg, but his average will dip with the minutes of Bosh and Peterson going up.
Okay, youre right, that was out of hand, im sorry. I didnt mean it directly at Celticballa though. Didnt mean to hurt anyones feelings. And honestly, I wouldnt be insulting people if I was still mod. Ive tried over and over again to get my spot back, but now ive just given up...TJ Ford is not a good defender, but neither as Nash. It's not essential. He is very quick, he can up the tempo, a very good slasher too. He isnt a great shooter, but he'll get us 15 from slashing to the bucket, etc...which is fine. It doesn't matter how you score as long as you score, for a guard imo.Anthony Parker is a great defender, and has shown strides on offense. He is an intelligent offensive player and should get a fair bit of points. Fred did that in 28 mpg. Honestly, he'll get like 25 mpg, so I wouldnt be surprised to see him contribute close to 14 off the bench for us. Our fast-break style of play benefits him tremendously.

I know you will bring up a great guard who cannot shoot (Andre Miller, Jason Kidd) and you will say that the Raptors shooting comes from Morris Peterson anyway. But that's just another reason TJ is a little overrated by the media. I'd give the advantage to Milwaukee in the Villanueva/Ford deal, although both teams filled needs.
Advantage to Mil? WTF, dude Charlie is probably the worst inside defender ever. He isnt going to play center, and he is too slow to play the wing, and no way in hell is he making Bosh share mins with him, so we didnt even need him. If you're gonna bring up offensive needs, we're still a top 5 offensive team in the League.TJ will run our team for years. He can up the tempo, and get us into more of a fastbreak team, and he can slash. He will be one of the best pg's in the League when he matures. Mark my words. It's f*cking ridiculous to say that we lost this trade. We definately needed a pass-first pg like TJ. If we didnt do this tradem, we definately would be a worse team than we are now, and in the future. WE JUST GOT BARGNANI TOO! He will take CV's minutes, and down the road be a 18-20 ppg guy for us. He'll score 10 ppg, and that'll be fine to replace CV. Like I said, we'll probably score even more points next year.

I think we had the better trade anyway. No one got the advantage, because it was great for both teams, and you cant argue that.
