Strahlman is a piece of shit no show again against another physical team. That non-physical pussy play at the blue line was embarrassing. And by the way hank you have to stop that 2nd goal.

Girardi and McDonagh look like 3rd pair guys lately and are lost when it comes to creating any offense. Id put Diaz in for Moore or Stralman on Sunday.

One thing is for sure. Kreider is a stud and has been our best forward for the last week plus. Driving for the net, playing with an edge again, giving nash the finger finally and firing the friggin puck. Don't understand the smurf line either.

How inept offensively can one team possibly be?

Nice play by St. Louis to hags for big goal 6 seconds to go in 2nd for 3-2 lead going into third.

Better period by MSL. Still team looks lost out there both offensively and defensively.

Yeah, no way you keep St Louis, Zucc and Brassard together...the were dominated virtually EVERY time they were on the ice with the exception of the late goal in the 2nd, which only materialized because of the St Louis penalty.

    Re: Raners-jets

Hank was the number one star in this game. Hagelin is number 2. For the love of god, please break up the smurf line. I never want to see it again. Man, this team lacks team toughness. MSL got knocked down to the ice at least 3 times and nobody did anything.

    Re: Raners-jets

Good win but ALOT of defensive zone issues now. Offensively. Nash needs to stop holding onto the puck forever and shoot and St.Louis just needs to start shooting but a beautiful feed to Hagelin. I think he's being a little unselfish to fit in with the team. The PP needs a tune up too.

    Re: Raners-jets

I said the lines should be as follows

    Hagelin-Stepan-Nash
    Pouliot-Brassard-Zucc
    Kreider-Richards-St. Louis

One big forward on each line.

    Re: Raners-jets

Those are the exact lines I asked for last week dump, so I agree. I don't love MSL and MZA on the same line. Way too small IMO. And I agree that MSL needs to start shooting. Passing up a lot of good chances. Actually the last few games it seems like team as a whole is passing too much. Maloney did a good job of calling that out last night.

Wanted 2 of 3 on this trip, only got 1 of 3. Tomorrow will be a very tough game flying back across the country to face one of the best teams in the NHL, and they are very hot. If we can somehow win that one we could get on a roll. Won't be easy though.

And BTW...let's go Pens today and tomorrow against the Flyers. Of course no Neal, but still have Cindy and Malkin. We'll see...

I messed that up Chuck. I think I said this in no order

    Hagelin-Richards-Nash
    Pouliot-Brassard-Zucc
    Kreider-Stepan-St. Louis

The point of it is a larger forward with a smaller forward on the wings. Makes sense. AV sees it differently at the moment. We'll see.
