What's he done with? I don't get it...Wasn't it like 4 years 40 mil? I still think that's a bit overpriced. He's good, but is about 7-8 mil a year calibur.

Terry might've been overpaid though but it is important to keep this team together. Nice mavs banner up now. I'm impressed.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>What's he done with? I don't get it...</div> Me neither, someone else used this headline on db.com and people thought it meant Josh was done for the year with an injury. Besides the point, we already talked about this in another thread when it was completed a week ago. Unneeded topic.

I was thinking he got an injury or something to that effect. Thank God my first thoughts were wrong. Anyways, glad its over with, and I dont think his salary was overpriced or underpriced. I think it was just about right.

Also yeah I stole that topic idea because people freaked over at DB. lol

    Re: JOSH IS DONE!

The beginning of the article says "Josh is done in Dallas," then it talks about him signing an extension lol. Makes no sense.

But I'm glad Dallas locked him up for a while, he's an exceptional young player and one of my favorites. He's going to be an All-Star caliber talent. Dallas is going to contend for a while with Dirk still being relatively young, Howard, Harris, Diop, Ager, and of course The Jet still has some years left in him.

GREAT news. I think he's worth 10 mill just becuase he can only get better from here. He's a good player already, but I think he has the potential to be a GREAT player in the future.

He seems to be at his peak elsewhere. Also, age wise, he's in his prime right now. I don't think he should be called a future player for the Mavericks anymore. When his extension is up along with the others, Mavericks should be looking at another core group coming up behind them. Because Terry, Dirk, and Howard should be on the decline, moreso with Terry/Howard.

Some peoples primes are different than others but Howard needs to play smarter to fully utilize his talent. Also he is fine at 3 pointers but will never be a 3 point specialist.

Also, Nash was a late bloomer and doesn't rely on athleticism. Those can't be said for Josh Howard who relies on his athleticism. When he starts losing it, he'll start declining out of his prime. As for his 3 pointers, he's not consistent. He needs improvement. When teams can't leave him open, then he's fine. But right now, he ain't.

Josh Howard is up and down with his outside shooting but the last game I saw he hit back to back 3's and was really feeling it. It's a game by game thing with Howard. Howard uses his length as well and not just his speed.
