I think he was trying to say that if you legalize marijuana, less teenagers might use it because right now (since it is illegal) teens may smoke it just to rebel against their parents or something like that. Not sure if that's what he meant because I also couldn't understand it clearly, but that is what I got out of it.

Did alcohol drinking actually go up when it was banned?

I don't think that people that smoke pot move on to higher drugs because of pot...Generally people that start smoking pot are obviously more prone to do try higher drugs in the first place. Most people just stop at pot because they know the huge risks of higher drugs like herion, meth, cocaine...etc...

I don't even think about getting into anything other than pot - I am really against anything else. lol and I hate how they call it a drug - I view it as a natural herb. :winkglasses:

I'm not addicted to it but I'll do it at parties, especially if its free. And I read earlier about the comment how weed wouldnt be smoked as much if it was legalized but I cant really imagine that happening. I would defintely see the people at my school smoking it more. If it was legalized though, I'm sure it'll hurt alot of drug dealers' business.
