It seems everyone has annointed Hillary as the dems contender for the Presidency in 2016. But what happens if she doesn't run? Not that it means they can't win the office again, but they don't seem to have a legitimate Plan B. The GOP has Christie, Rand Jeb Bush & Paul- all of whom could compete and carry a national following. Maybe Cuomo for the dems? And if the dems can't put up much of a candidate, could it potentially keep enough voters home to cause even heavier losses in Congress?
All of these guys can't survive on Republican votes alone. They'll need to win some Democrat votes (which won't be easy for Paul or Rand) if they want a real chance. There's also good old Ted Cruz... right? ( )
Christie is a piece of shit. I'm so done with the GOP. I want nothing to do with that joke of a party anymore.
But Christie is keeping the Tesla from being sold in NJ! Aren't you happy about his visible hand of the market?
According to past presidential patterns, Ted Cruz came in second at the CPAC, so we should expect him as GOP candidate.
Cuomo, Gavin Newsom, and Cory Booker could be candidates if for whatever reason Clinton decides not to run. Booker especially is someone the D's seem to be grooming for the national stage.
Of them and Cruz, only the Pauls lack a double chin. You have to have some kind of looks nowadays. That's why Obama beat Hillary in 2008. The CIA won't let either Paul become the nominee. But the CIA approves of Hillary because she dragged Obama into the Libya war. So we're left with her beating one of the fatsos.
Americans will end up voting Democrat no matter what now since they are the party that gives out free shit and act like they 'care'. The other side of the aisle is battling within itself so the primaries will be a bloodbath for them and their candidate will end up divided among the base of voters. So chalk it up to another shitty 8 years of American Politics unless the old ass Republicans give up their anti-gay views and go with a Libertarian candidate who can run on fiscal responsibility and a 'Do what you want, this is America' social view.

She fainted and banged her head real good right about the time she left office as Secy. State. On the other hand, she's been making public appearances. Running for president is a lot of hours and travel. I'm. Not sure why she would want to. That and we'll be watching barfo spin like a top trying to explain away how bad a job she did as Secy. State.
Romney still seems to me like the Republican Party's only prayer of even being a little competitive. Everyone else they've got are total extremist whackjobs.
Oh Shoot! Watching her run for President would be fun and watching all her progressive supporters defend her would be a hoot! Suffering through her actually being President would be wonderful to avoid. Her not running would be a big gain for the country.
I don't think she could go toe to toe for 9 rounds against Rocky Marciano if that is what you are asking.
I think Elizabeth Warren is the main democratic plan B. To be relevant the republicans need to reevaluate their positions on social issues, offer real alternatives to Obama care and divorce the tea party and the ultra conservative religious element of their party . I dont see that happening before 2016.
