crowTrobot is right. "Eternal" denotes time - that you can go back beyond 13.8B years and keep going (if you could travel in time). It implies an infinite amount of time. Welcome back buddy.
Conceptually I guess that argument is fine. It's not really a big deal because one side thinks that there was something before the Big Bang that was eternal, then other don't. It seems like one of those circle-type arguments. Thanks glad to be back!
