I agree, and I can't blame them right now. The Flyers look great. I would pick the Flyers and Bruins also. If we were ahead of the Flyers and had home ice for that series I would take us.

I will say I don't like the Pens this year. They will not make the ECF IMO.

You can't go on how teams look now, because most pick it up 2 or 3 notches come playoff time.

The Flyers will cool off eventually. Not sure about Mason yet.

Both fair comments, but they are picking now. If I was picking now I would take the Bruins and Flyers also. That home ice against us gives them the edge IMO.

As for Mason, yes he needs to show it in the playoffs, but the edge the Flyers have is they just need him to be solid. He does not need to be a stud/amazing. If he is solid and doesn't let in bad goals, that is all the Flyers need.

I hate the Flyers, I work with a ton of Flyer fans and was at the Dallas game the other night with a bunch of them, but I like that team a lot. I think they have a solid deep team. And if Mason is just solid they are in a good spot considering to me it is the Bruins and everyone else in the East right now.
