There goes the Gulfstream, the Penthouse, off goes the electricity, water, off go the cars, limo rides......

A-Fraud's pockets aren't deep enough to pay his legal fees. Now if the Yanks can find a loophole to deny his contract or off him, he would reside on Skid Row, for the rest of his life....the lying cheating bastage. Deserves to clean the toilets in Central Park, not Yankee Stadium. His presence tarnishes such holy ground....!!! May he find his dinner in a soup line...!

This guy has clearly over taken Bonds as the most hated player in baseball. I'm curious as to how he'll be received when he comes back.

He still has 3 years left on his contract & as vain as he is, he'll be back.

59, I hope you're right and we never see him again. But I'm waiting to hear he's dropping weight, doing ability drills and vying to compete for the vacated SS position in Tampa ST 2015.

...that's not solely Rod's decision...while at this point the Yanx are still obligated to pay him, they are not obligated to play him.

That's a great point Totus, I keep forgetting that position will be available next season.

Since the Yanks are obligated to pay him and NOT play him, what's to stop the Yanks from Paying him. Seeing how He probably lacks any money to sue them if they didn't pay?

Would he go pro-bono, with a ambulance chaser lawyer??? Just wondering out loud.

...not sure, but I think tote's comment was tongue in cheek...ARod no longer has the range and quickness to play 3B well, much less SS.

It won't stop him from trying. Nothing that ego-maniac does would surprise me. I'm just hoping clueless Joe has the balls to say NO!

...I just don't think there's any way they can afford to let him back in the clubhouse...he's alienated too many people and burned his bridges by trying to sue everyone but the ball boy.

If he did come back to play, the Yanks would have to spend a fortune on their grounds crews.

The Fans would throw everything including their chairs at him, on the field...It would take hours to stop the game over and over, clean up the mess on the field. Game would go on for 8 hours, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone tossed a grenade into his glove.

If he comes back, it certainly won't be in a Yankee uniform. Either buy out or some sort of settlement. Everyone will say the politically correct things till it comes to an end. But Bye Bye Aroid.
