Let's hope the Devs beat the Leafs and the Wild beat the Wings also. Make this a good day.

With the CBJ loss today I think we are playing the Flyers almost for sure now. Do the math:

If we get just 13 of 20 points left for us, which is 6-4 and 1 L in OT or a SO, which is VERY doable with our schedule, that would mean CBJ would need to get 18 of their 22 available points. NOT happening.

After today's L to the Isles I think it is a VERY VERY strong chance we are playing the Flyers, most likely opening in Philly. Winner of that series will be the biggest test for Boston IMO.

Yeah it definitely looks that way Chuck. It can change fast though. Beat the Yotes and Flyers this week and we could be in great position to get the 2 seed. Its just too hard to figure out right now

Detroit gonna win again....Amazing. They are missing like 5 centers but just keep winning. Nyquist is on fire

For sure Dis, but the strong math (for what that is worth) says the Flyers will be the 2 seed and we will be the 3 seed in the Met. Which means we open at Philly.

Even if we beat Philly on Wednesday, they still have the inside track for the 2 spot in the Met. With their two games in hand they can be 5 up on us with the TB. That may not sound like a lot, but when you have 10 games left, that is a lot of points. The same math I just applied to the BJ's with us, applies to us with the Flyers.

Very strong % we end up 3 in the Met and open at Philly who will be 2 in the Met.

Anything can happen as you say, but we are at the point where for that not to be the case we need to lose a bunch of games to non playoff teams. We win against Buff, Ottawa, Carolina, and at Edmonton and at Calgary we'll be 3 in the Met. That's 10 points right there. And that doesn't even mention the Canucks or the under .500 on the road Coyotes.

I will take it even one extra step...we beat Phoenix tomorrow night pencil us in for no worse than 3rd in the Met for 100% sure.

And yeah, Detroit is pretty amazing. Hard to believe they keep winning with their best players out. I still think it would be difficult for us to finish as the 2nd WC and face Boston, but it is possible if Detroit keeps winning, and CBJ (or even the Caps) passes us. Then we could be the 2nd WC behind Detroit.

Fun finish as always for us. If nothing else we can say almost every season late March is exciting.

3 straight for Minny and then Bryz just watches a wrister go by......Tie game and I bet Detroit gets an OT win with 1 sec left

Good for us that Detroit left that 2nd point on the table after a 2-0 lead.

We have a very nice schedule the next 9 games. We have the TB over every team trailing us. We are playing well right now. We are in a good spot at the moment.

Tonight is one of those in the middle games, we are home but Phoenix is solid. If we win tonight I think we are in the playoffs for sure, and I think we will be worst case 3 in the Met just about for sure as well. Plus I think we'd put ourselves in position to worst case be the # 1 WC, which means no Boston in round 1.

Good spot. This team has earned it recently. Get a win tonight and I will feel great.

    NO LET DOWN!!!

The Flyers play the Kings tonight so tonight is another big game for the Rangers. Hopefully some help from the Kings but either way the Rangers need to take this game.

I have given up hope of the Flyers losing Mess...LOL.

In theory this is a big 3 days.

IF we can win tonight, and we better, and somehow the Flyers actually lose a game, they are due for an L, Wednesday could be even bigger as we'd have a chance to go 3 up on the Flyers with a regulation win.

    Here's hoping...

    To my point:

The Rangers have a 95% chance of making the playoffs and finishing the season with a 5-5 record would still give them a 97% chance of making the playoffs.

With our schedule we better be at least 5-5, and we should be more like 7-3 really. We shouldn't have to worry about a WC if we take care of business...we'll be 2 or most likely 3 in the Met.

I think Columbus plays both Detroit and Toronto so maybe they can beat each other up without any 3pt games. Washington is still hanging around too.
