I think you are nuts with Boston, they would simply pound us like they do time after time now. Pitt, I agree I wouldn't mind playing them. Right now considering Boston will be the 1 seed, and we have a little edge over the other teams we are battling with for the WC, and we have a nice schedule coming up, it would surprise me if we were the 2nd WC, so I don't think we'll get Boston, but we'll see.
If you're going to play Boston, you want them after round one. You want them to go up against another physical team, and be forced to play a long drawn out punishing 7 game series, while the Rangers are rested and waiting.

If you'll notice, my post said "If your going to play Boston" not when. It was a best case scenario, pretty much like everybody else who posts on this subject and it could be the same for any team in the league. How many teams would want to start off against the Bruins, rather than see them in the 2nd round after they've gone through a tough physical series?

No...LOL. I was kidding. I will take the Flyers if they get home ice. I felt along the team with home ice wins that series.
It's a funny game Al, where anything can happen. And yes, the Rangers can beat the Flyer's in 5. All they have to do is get on a roll, and they cannot allow themselves to let the Flyer's beat them up. In my opinion, that is the key.
