A slow day no game. I was wondering what some of your SNs stand for? Some are obvious like Mattingly23. Mine Rick2583 is of course my name & the #s are my daughters birthday. Just curious.

My Son's is 5984-We were Young Dad's at the same time. My step Sons (who I never referred to as step-sons) were 42280 and 81381.

    I'm curious too....

totus? Pastafazul, or bridesagain, or bern_baby_bern plus a few more......????

Man, I miss Boz on these boards, her KY- Wildcats, beat my Shockers yesterday. All sports analysts expected as much, but by 1 point, a closer game than I even thought. I too would of bet against WSU. (I think my brother in law in Wichita is crying in his Wheaties and Beer) Breakfast of Champions.......

There's been quite a few upsets during March madness. And Bern baby Bern is one of the obvious ones. And yes I miss Bos also.

TOTUS44.... teleprompter of the united states, edition 44 the real brains in the white house. I had hoped to adopt this screen name for 4 years, sadly I have it until 2016. I'll be changing to GordonGecko next.

Kudos, YanksFan...I guess that makes you and I believe one more gent in AZ., the elder states-men on these boards. Always good to have Veterans of Yankee Lore, and life in general, aboard.

    help me out here totus:

You waited 4 years to adopt the SN? What happens in 2016, does a new teleprompter take the place of TOTUS44 then?

Ah, Gordon Gecko, a great movie indeed. "Greed Is Good".

Well I was 45 in 45, so I helped the Wright Bros. launch their balsa wood rice paper plane, on the shores of Carolina.

A chariot was to far advanced for me to drive, in my day! We just walked, a mule was my first ride. Your close on the Birthstone, mine Birthstone is pure mud... !!! We share the same stone, or is yours lava, or a sea-shell...!!! LOL.....good one buddy...!!!

Rick-Wasn't that you tho' who taught the Wright Brothers in School?

No I didn't teach them but I was quoted as telling them...."You'll never get that shit off the ground".

This makes you the Fore-Father of Aerospace, and you deserve Royalties for your teachings...!!!

You will be retired in the Smithsonian, my friend, do you want me to make sure they dip you in Bronze first?

Either you became a Yankee fan in 1959 or you were 59 when you became a Yankee fan.

It's actually a reference to my favorite band... I dropped the f to make it more Irish (like me)... There was a line in one of their songs that said hammer of justice crushes you... http://www.lyricsfreak.com/m/metallica/and+justice+for+all_10178741.html

I never heard of them Steve but I'm also someone who thinks music pretty much died after the 80s.

You've never heard of Metallica? Really?

You've definitely heard them... Enter Sandman (the entrance theme song to Mariano) is a Metallica song...

"Hammer of justice crushes you" is a line from the song "...And Justice For All" from the album of the same title by Metallica.

The band formed in 1981... They have 10 studio albums (which were 3, 6, 6, 8, 16, 5, 4, 2, 2 X Platinum level & the last yet to reach platinum, 4 live albums including 1 being with the San Fransisco symphony, 4 compilation albums, 10 video albums, etc.

They were also the music for the movies Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Lost:_The_Child_Murders_at_Robin_Hood_Hills
Paradise Lost 2: Revelations http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Lost_2:_Revelations and Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Lost_3:_Purgatory all of which chronicle the arrest, conviction, imprisonment of 18 years and release of the falsely accused West Memphis Three http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Memphis_Three who were largely accused of these brutal crimes because they listened to Metallica...
