I love my Giants but Posey shouldn't even be in the discussion. At least not yet.

Who's to blame for the Giants demise, starting pitching, or coaching that over worked their SP staff?

I wouldn't include Posey in this Discussion either,as far as best player now?

    Most Over-Rated:

    Adrian Beltre
    Josh Hamilton
Albert Pujols (please prove me wrong Albert)
    Dan Uggla
    Jason Werth-less
    Prince Fielder
    Ryan Braun

Lincecum just fell apart & lost whatever he had. And now they resigned him for 2 years 35M after the last two years he had & his ST numbers indicate that whatever he lost.....he still hasn't found. I'm glad Zito is gone & I hope Hudson does well.

Shit Fire and save matches....I did not know that about Lincecum's extension.

All that money for a Rubber Arm, Pitcher, go figure. Hudson is looking pretty good in his last outing, or so! I wish him well, and YES, I'm glad the POS Zito is gone, I guess Clearasil took him out.

if they cant win the world series EVERY year, EVERY OTHER year is acceptable for the time being

some pitchers just lose their magic though, and lincecum is one of them sadly. it has a lot to do with his fastball velocity, he was hitting 98 before, now he overthrows to hit 91, and loses his command

I don't remember who it was but some sportscaster did say that with the motion he had it was only a matter of time. Hell, maybe he just suffers from the curse of Samson. Cut his hair & lost his power.

happens to the best of them, younger guys can generally throw higher mph, and as they age, they become more finesse pitchers. trouble is, his command is complete shit. still has nasty movement though.

I hope I'm wrong but I can see a similar thing happening with Strausberg of the Nats. Unlike Lincecum lets hope he can adjust.

...spot on...Lincecum's velo used to allow him to throw up in the zone and get away with it...now if he elevates his FB it's batting practice.

Is it possible I agree with you, YES! Trout is a 5 tool player, Miggy is not.

I would probably put Trout, Miggy, and McCutchen up there as well as Kershaw... I think it's WAY too early to call Tanaka... wouldn't put Puig in the top 25 or maybe even 50 because of his immaturity issues...

Thank you... but Good call in what sense... most were saying Trout, Miggy, and Kershaw... were you more talking about the McCutchen, Tanaka, or Puig comments?

Sorry I failed to clarify: I like your take on Trout, Miggy, Kershaw, and McCutchen.....It is too early to say yes to Tanaka,-

and, Puig hell NO, he's a Little League Mentality player, a loose cannon, both in his personal private life, (what's ever private about a ballplayer tho'), as well as on the Field. Puig could be one of the greatest players of the next 15 years, tho' I think he's going to burn out quickly if he doesn't get his shit together. I would want to be in Donnie Baseball's shoes right now. Although, I do agree with his frustrated take on the kid from K-U-Baaahh
