You stood up for the forum? Wow! How brave! Congratulations on having some people agree with you.

My point about some people melting down on this forum still stands.

Wow, my previous post was positively nefarious.

People can be down without melting down. Try it sometime.

Ok well, i accept that team lose too many close games, but this what we see in last couple of weeks is not basketball. This team lost all ability play to basketball basics.. whats going wrong with this team. are they hopening for 8th seed and then kicked the spurs in the first round or what ? are you be kidding me.. you can be lose a game but not of this style.. holy shit Charlotte give us the hardest loss this season by 30 POINTS 30 POINTS Man.. with orlando one of the worst teams season outscored you by 10, Nearly lost to the Milwaukee bucks.. you have the luck on your side in this game on the last 20 seconds or what. so this is sick. especially after the brooklyn game what we win by 30-40 points i think this time is back on the boards but then comes the freefall , this so crazy. ok im 2 years blazers fan but im a real fan of this franchise.. i watched last year 70 games this year i missed 2 or 3 game maybe.. so no one can says im a bandwagon fan while the is on fire with amazin 75% winning precentage.. but this is so heartbreaking as you a blazers fan. i cant believe it, what there are going on..

    No they shouldn't.
Just wait as the number of home game tickets available will increase. More red seats will show up on TV as the fans won't be interested on going to the games.
What a pathetic end to a great potentially looking season.

My answer is the same as it was at the beginning of the year.

speaking of the beginning of the year, and forgive me if you've already discussed this (as I haven't been as frequent a visitor here recently), but how are things with the cancer/brain?

The team has a similar feel to it, that the 2000-2001 team did. Started off awesome, but once Detlef and Rod were brought in, the bottom fell out.

Went from, iirc, top 3 team to being the 7th seed and thankfully swept by the Lakers. History might be repeating itself here.

Well to be completely fair, the team's meltdown is still worse

I agree they are resting LA and winning just enough to stay in the playoffs but this team clearly is aiming for a lower seed.

I hope they get the Spurs and get sent home in 5 it will serve them right.

Should they make the playoffs? Yes, they should. DUH. They are the 5th seed with only 10 games remaining.

Well, if we had traded for Andre Miller some fans probably would have blamed it on that. But that season is the only one I know of that could rival the slide the Blazers have been on. To be completing for the #1 spot the first half of the year to almost sliding out of the playoffs.

They're not aiming for a lower seed. Maybe if they had already clinched a playoff spot I could see this, but in this situation you would be flirting with disaster. LA said he wanted to play yesterday but couldn't run. Unless you don't believe him, it's obvious he had to sit. Plus, who would have guessed Orlando actually wanted to win that game? They didn't look like a team with 9 straight losses last night.

If we miss the playoffs after a 24-5 start, we need to seriously evaluate the way this roster is built. Could call for some big changes like trading LA/Nic/Wes.
