Wait...I was just looking back in this thread. Boozer is a crucial piece of our starting unit and we still lose 1/3 of the games where he posts a double double? That isn't a good thing. He can't be that big a difference maker if we lose that many games when he is playing exceptionally well.

I think defense is great. I don't think it's fun to watch a brick fest, though. Or not very talented guys killing the shot clock to throw talented teams off their normal pace. It's great when Michael Jordan is DPOY. He's also league leading scorer, MVP candidate, etc. Kirk? None of those things. Lu? None of those things. Etc. Bulls Pace: 90.4 (29th of 30) Boozer? What's our record with him as starter? Near best in the NBA over the past 4 years, no?
He's one of a small number of guys you'd amnesty Boozer to sign. The others? Melo. LeBron if he opts out. And so on.
