Took many players on this team 15 games to get this system down.

MSL will be fine. He has been getting chances. He just needs to calm down, look to shoot more, and positive things will start to happen for him. He has fumbled the puck a lot. Passed up a lot of good shooting chances. And had some really good saves against him as well.

I think he'll be fine real soon.

It looks like he's trying a little too hard to be a playmaker early on, and let's not forget he had Stamkos in TB alot of the time.

It's a New York thing. Become a Ranger and it'll be a while
    to net that 1st goal.
(Save the goals for the playoffs) LOL

One thing I've noticed about him is he gets knock down a lot on his ass. Does not seem to have a good balance. I thought he would be more shifty as he is small like zucc.

He seemed to do pretty well without Stamkos this season in TB (29 goals and top 10 scorer).

I truly think he will be fine. Don't love him and MZA on the same line, too small and similar, but I really think he will get it going soon. He is too talented not to. On top of that he has had chances, so it isn't like he's come here and been invisible. He has simply had pucks bounce off his stick, goalies have made some solid saves, and he has passed up a few good chances as well.

He will get it going soon I really believe that.

Right, and I'm not at all arguing that he's still a high level player, just that having Stamkos helped free him up that much more for rebounds/shots etc. He's already helping here with 2 gw assists.

    Meanwhile...Rangers have won 5 straight.
Meanwhile...Rangers have pretty much locked up a playoff spot.
Meanwhile...I STILL don't want to give Cally 6 mill or more per for 6 years.

That is pretty noticeable now that I didn't notice so much when he was with tampa bay. He gets thrown around like a rag doll. Zucc on the other hand though small is built like a tank and doesn't take shit from anyone. Zucc also hasn't scored much lately and I wonder if that hand is still giving him problems. Tough injury to come back from for a hockey or baseball player.
