    Another goal off a skate that doesn't count for NYR but would have against them......

    There was no kicking motion although St Louis turned his skate

    Amazing how few of those calls this team gets

    That was the first toronto replay I actually agreed with this year. At least some good news as columbus loses tonight

    Sometimes I truly wonder if some of you guys are really Ranger fans (for you sc). This has to be the most negative board in the history of the world. If they don't play great every minute of every game this board is a disaster.

    Yeah they played like crap in their own zone in the 1st period, but for the love of god they won't win every game. We turn on these guys so fast. Yes we know you hate our D sc, you can say you don't but any time any of our D makes a mistake you go off so clearly you do. We need to tighten up no doubt.

    And guess what...we very may well be flat all night and lose 4-1 or something like that, but it happens. We are locked into 2/3 in the Met, so it is about Philly. We'll still be 1 up, and we'd need to bounce back at Edmonton on Sunday if we lose tonight.

    Let's also hope that Philly hits a little slide, which they very well might with Boston, at the Blues, CBJ, and at Boston up next for them.

    This is the way I expected them to come out, for some reason they have a hard time making things easy for themselves. Both goals, they just allowed the defender to skate in without being challenged. Stupid penalty by Dorsett, and MSL with a definite kicking motion. If it had been Calgary, would Toronto have allowed it? I've seen it before. Okay, 2 periods to get going ...

    BTW...I like this Diaz kid. Could be a keeper for the 3rd pair. Klein, Diaz, Moore is a nice 3rd pair trio. Add a solid 4th dman to play with Staal and away we go.
