    LA has said he is willing to sign an extension. I haven't heard anything different from that fact.

    If he wasn't ok with Portland why suggest that he was?

    Just leave 'that' alone and let it work itself out in the offseason.

    I'm sure I'm not the only one here who has had one. As your link notes, a meniscus tear could represent a minor or major setback dependent on the location & type of tear. If he has the most minor/easiest to deal with type, it's not inconceivable that Beverly could be back & near 100% for the playoffs. A worst case scenario puts his career in jeopardy.
