u r way off base on yankees this year, saying yankees not a threat to boston. a caller said he really likes the yankees pitchig staff, francesa says to him 'you can't judge pitching in spring training, but then goes on to crack on CC for not throwin a ball over 90.. he also stated the yankees lost a lot of stars from last year, yes we lost MO, a big loss no doubt, but we got tananka and pineda who he did not even comment on! he says ' bostons pitching staff was much better then yankees, look, i will wait for season but we have a very formidable staff... we have also strengthened this team up the middle, he's got to hate the fact the yankees are on the fan now!

Sure, his program has done very well in the ratings.....I, am not impressed for one simple reason ---> WFAN Sportstalk radio was the ONLY GAME in town for DECADES with very little or no competition. Isn't it funny how he was gushing over the Mets' Dillon Gee's success over the last half of last year plus this spring training -- and Gee's fastball is a modest 89-92 MPH yet we keep hearing criticism concerning CC's fastball being in the 89-92 range? Funny isn't it? Especially when we consider CC does has an excellent change-up and slider to go along with his 89-92 mph fastball. I had the misfortune of actually hearing this blowhard say the Redsox were "light years" ahead of the Yankees. Francesa is a notorious front-runner..... Look for him to begin putting his nose up the Mets' collective asses in the future as he's already done with Matt Harvey. The Mets do seem to have a couple of very good pitching prospects along with Harvey and Fatfukcesa wants to get on their bandwagon and would love to stick it to the Yankees and the YES Network for dumping him. Same crap he's pulling with the Jets because they told him to take a hike and refused to kiss his butt.
If you don't understand Francesa's motives by now you never will. His job is to create a reaction to get people fired up when they call in.
I'm not a fan, to me listening to him is like listening to Dick Vitale. Its finger nails on a black board.
i know that would make all the sense in the world for 1 to create havoc for attention, but i believe he thinks this way! i listen to him alot, i cry when he gets angry, its funny as heck.. some dude bagged him the other day when he was talkin about a pt guard college player who actually WASN'T the starter for a team in the '89- '90 season , it took him bout 5 minutes to realize he messed up, then he says it was over 20 years ago!!! LOL
