Re: NBA.com's Preseason Rookie Rankings http://www.nba.com/rookies/rankings.htmlTop 10 Rookies from Preseason1. Marcus Williams (NJ)2. Rajon Rondo (BOS)3. Brandon Roy (POR)4. Steve Novak (HOU)5. Rudy Gay (MEM)6. Paul Millsap (UTA)7. Tyrus Thomas (CHI)8. Shelden Williams (ATL)9. Adam Morrison (CHA)10. Alexander Johnson (MEM)Noteworthy: Maurice Ager (DAL), Andrea Bargnani (TOR), Yakhouba Diawara (DEN), Jorge Garbajosa (TOR), Leon Powe (BOS)Rookie Line of the Month: Rajon Rondo - 29 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 8-13 FG, 11-12 FT (he also hit a buzzer beater to force OT).It's only preseason, but it's still nice to see some of these guys get off to a good start. Steve Novak can shoot the lights out, wow. I watched him in summer league and 1 preseason game, and he's money. Marcus Williams, Rajon Rondo, Paul Millsap, and Alexander Johnson were absolute steals for where they were taken. I will also say it's nice to finally have one of the top rookies in Boston.
Re: NBA.com's Preseason Rookie Rankings The rookie class surprise me so far. Of course I'm surprised by Marcus Williams, but also bt Rondo. Spectacular do-everything kinda guy.I'm glad the season is finally starting!
Re: NBA.com's Preseason Rookie Rankings I dont understand why people thought this was a weak draft class. We didnt have a Howard or Lebron in it....but very few do, just happens in recent drafts we have had those type of players. This draft was extremely deep, as you saw alotve 2nd rnders were in there. Rondo along with 2nd rnd pick Alexander Johnson are absolute steals. Cant wait till 2nite!!!!
Re: NBA.com's Preseason Rookie Rankings Wow, respect for Rondo. I'm excited to see all these guys play this year. I personally think Roy will be first, but whatever, its all opinion.
Re: NBA.com's Preseason Rookie Rankings ..and to think these first two rookies slipped to the 21st and 22nd pick. :no3:
Re: NBA.com's Preseason Rookie Rankings Millsap and Novak? Who the Ty Thomas @ #1!!!!!! He looked good tonight. Thomas and Roy are my top picks for ROY.
Re: NBA.com's Preseason Rookie Rankings Novak is nice... I'm not sure he would play PF for the rockets tho. I havent seen his big man type of game yet. Cause if so he could when a starting job if he improves more.by the way that heat game..... OUCH!!!

Novak played very very well in the preseason, remember that they are ranking how they played in the preseason.I am glad to see my pick for ROY Brandon Roy in the Top 3. I think that his play will carry over into the regular season.
Re: NBA.com's Preseason Rookie Rankings This is good they put these different guys in here, instead of just putting them in order of how they were drafted..I like the rankings, and alot of guys have suprised me so far. Alexander Johnson looks like he could be a productive big man, and a great spark off the bench for the grizz. We all know Rondo and Williams were steals already, and they both will get a good amount of playing time this year, because they are both the future of there franchises at PG..Paul Milsap also looks like he's carried over his rebounding into the NBA. I would've thought Morrison would be higher, considering he was prob. the best NBA-ready player that came out of the draft..
Re: NBA.com's Preseason Rookie Rankings I dont understand why people think Brandon Roy is all that great. Can somebody give me 5 solid reasons why I should think he will be ROY? Besides the name btw........
