There was zero reason he should have been the opening day starter, other than "he gets paid a lot" or "because"

if everyone is pitching to their max potential, he's the worst starter on the team

Come on and raise your hand if you really thought CC would be better this season. My hand is not raised.

I was hopeful and while this is only one game it's not a good sign coming off last season.

Yep, Tanaka should be #1 starter.

WTF-3 errors in one inning, I got the game on late, at Sabathia's 13th pitch, he's looking like shit, what the hell happened to his fast ball? 88-91 MPH???????? Where did you go CC?

A comedy of errors, this ISN"T Spring Training, but they're playing like it, ie. the Yanks.

The Yanks are making Houston look like the AL Champs, again WTF????

I think it has a lot to do with his season last year and now this. Same crap as game 1 last year against Boston.

Lets see if the asshole clueless Joe waits until another pitcher gives up 6-8 runs before he takes his ass out. Something he made a habit of doing last year.

If they're going to lose anyway I hope the fat fuck gives up 15 runs.

No fastball what so ever....its going to be a long day or game, if this continues. What is Joe waiting for, a 20 to 0 Astros lead?

I came in a bit late, saw 3 pitiful little league errors, how many more did I miss?

this is utterly pitiful.....I can't recall a Yank game this horrid, in early innings. Joe needs to get his head out of his ass. C.C. needs to be DFA....(eat his contract if necessary).

    DanMan's right, "dude is toast".

CC Garbathia throwing nothing but complete trash. If these minor leaguers in Houston are tagging him I can't wait until he starts facing some real big league hitters.

I want to make some money, who wants to bet that Joe (dumb fuck) Girardi sends CC out to pitch the 3rd.

Do you want to ruin the bullpen starting in game one?

Actually I am embarrassed for him. If he can't get the Astros out what happens when he faces the Red Sox. I could hit a homer off him. Sorry but without his velocity he is not a good pitcher anymore and Yanks are stuck with him.

A year with a 36.OO ERA... that's what I expect, other than C.C. to not be playing at AA levels, even then AA Minor Leaguer's can out pitch this fucking POS-SLOB.

He loses weight, and his fastball too. C.C. is not Greg Maddux, not the finesse pitcher mentality, which he doesn't have.
