That seems like a really good way to get Howard going. He could probably school Meyers with one healthy leg.

Top 10 if they played to their potential instead of cruising as they do. But even with that--not Matthews, and I doubt Lopez, would make the list.

He would school Leonard with two broken legs, blindness and a dislocated arm.

He also leads the entire NBA in 4th quarter blocks and is an 82% FT shooter who is a smart player who makes his teammates better. He's easily a top 10 center and arguably top 6 - 8 when you consider total impact and not just individual stats. There just aren't that many great centers in the league these days. We're lucky. We got one who is relatively young and extremely cheap for a starting center that isn't on a rookie contract.

Perhaps I missed it. Did you cite your source, KingSpeed?

It's just a combination of stats and the eye test.

Lets stat it up! NBA.com player stats to date (04/03/14)

Looking at all players who PPG are 15.0 or more.

    Houston
    Code:
    PLAYER TEAM	GP	MPG	PTS
    James Harden, SG	HOU	66	38	25.1
    Dwight Howard, C	HOU	68	34	18.5
    Chandler Parsons, SF	HOU	68	37.7	16.3

    Blazers
    Code:
    PLAYER TEAM	GP	MPG	PTS
    LaMarcus Aldridge, PF	POR	64	36.2	23.3
    Damian Lillard, PG	POR	76	35.9	21.1
    Wesley Matthews, SG	POR	76	34.1	16.3

That's like a 1 point margin (go Blazers) between the 3 'consistent' scorers for both teams. We figure Dwight might not be there at 100% so that helps our cause...but assume he is. If these 6 'wash' each other out, its rotation time.

Lin is about the only offensive 'concern' off the bench for Houston. Mo could try to match but I don't think he has too. If T-rob, Will, and D W can get some production I think they can match anything that Houston can bring from the bench and then some. Likely these games get decided on the production from the rest of the starters.

Batman & Robin (production) vs Jones (guess we could call him Indy...) I don't see Garcia, Hamilton or Canaan doing much...
