I was just going to post about the exact same message. More brittle than my grandmother's antique coffee cup. Ok that being said we all know he will go on the DL. Do you move Johnson to 1st base full time? Call up Canzler or whatever his name is. Check the trade market and maybe use Nunez. Tex was the cleanup hitter or number 5 hitter for god sake. Four freaking games....that is all carry on with your Saturday.

...and the bad thing is that hammys tend heal VERY slowly. This could be a year long problem.

I've reached the point of about having had it with him. Whether all this is from previous steroid use who knows. They needed 35 homers and 100+ RBIs from this guy and he's hurt already after missing just about all of 2013.

When he came to New York I was hoping he'd fit in with the Skowron, Chambliss, Donnie Baseball, and Tino Mold. Somehow he escaped.

Would your ears explode if I suggested that NOW would be a good time to check up on Kendry Morales?

Isn't he a Boras Client? Dude would probably want a lot more than what the Yanks want to pay. He's a good player but I'd hope the Yankees can as 59 stated in another post move Johnson to first. Un like many I think the Yankees have some talent in the farm system now lets use it and give those kids a chance.

Yeah, so far I like what I see from Johnson. He doesn't have the glove that Tex has but I think he may end up surprising a lot of people with his offense.

KJ made some nice plays at 3rd in Houston, probably do well at First. I've lost respect for Texeria out of hearing his comments about aging, Hey Tex, look at Ichiro, dude can still boogie.

Tex put on th DL and Romine called up. Why call up Romine unless Cervelli to play a little at 1st base?

Like I said, he's an accident waiting to happen. And the sad part....counting this season, 3 years and $67.5M left on his contract.

I see the Mutts want to deal Ike Davis....for Nunez? I'm not even serious, that was sarcastic font.

Of course we could ask the M's to resign Morales and then work a package deal that includes Nunez. They also just DFA'd Noesi, so maybe bundle in the resigned Aceves.

Otherwise were gonna have a platoon infield, and the lineup is gonna feel like Rays does on a daily basis.

I agree with you, he hit for average and power, but then he became one dimensional over night offensively
