That is not what happened 28. Staal got knocked down. Got up right away and skated right to Neal and jumped on him. That is what happened.

And for 40 minutes there is no doubt who wanted this game more...the Sens, and they deserved it. We thought we could just turn it on and win, and we couldn't. And AGAIN trust me when I tell you the Sens got exactly what they wanted late in the game. They knew what they were doing. MZA had both goals, how about I stick jab him and get him off the ice with 2:45 left with up us by 1. Very stupid.

I don't think so. I think the passion and energy are still there, just needs to find the net a little more. He's still skating hard, and creating chances for his line mates ... It'll come.

For sure Mess, just like the SJ game when he was all alone in front. Dude has to finish.

This game just really angers me. There is NO excuse at all to get beat at home by a bad team like Ottawa playing on back to back nights...NONE. Philly gave us the opening, and we gave it right back tonight. I am really pissed.

We'll agree to disagree jam. I have seen him get softly knocked off the puck too many times. I have seen him whiff on shots too many times. I have seen him make stupid plays too many time. I am not saying he isn't trying, I am saying mentally he is just not here. And truthfully I think he needs to show some balls and say enough and just play his ass off.

Dumb job by AV not pulling the goalie even when youre down a man. You end up not getting him out at all.

St. Louis needs people to feed him the puck. Outside of some plays here and there the Rangers are a shitty passing team which hurts them. Guys have to carry the puck long distances and make plays themselves a lot of the time.

This game had nothing to do with being soft. This game had everything to do with us coming out flat and being VERY sloppy with the puck in our own end. The Sens clearly wanting it more to start, and by the time we really started to play in the 2nd it was 2-0. And the issue tonight was they got that fluky kind of goal to make it 3-1 instead of us tying it at 2.

They didn't lose tonight because of MSL. They lost tonight because they couldn't finish, and because of breakdowns in the defensive zone. The biggest problem with this team has always been on defense, where they continue to lose sight of players skating right in front of the net. Now we can add that they need to get their best defenseman back.

Yeah they waited too long on that one. You have to give yourself a chance to get the puck down the other end for when the extra man comes out of the box.

We never really had the puck to pull Hank. Should they have pulled him with the faceoff in our zone?

You know what was dumb??? Us taking the Neal bait and not maintaining our composure with 2:45 left in a game we certainly wanted to win, while it meant zero to the Sens.

Rangers had their chances tonight for sure but I thought Ottawa got in their passing lanes well and tied guys up. The Brassard wiff was exactly like SJ and cost them a point. Same ole Rangers, its never easy with this freaking team.

St Louis has to produce, period. I don't care if he is trying or not he is going on almost 20 games here and has 1 freaking goal. He isn't getting great chances lately either. Nash was great tonight just couldn't score. I have no beef with his game tonight. St Louis needs to put the puck in the net.

They certainly didn't lose because of MSL, we agree there. We lost for all the reasons we mentioned. I am angry and done with this game. I am sure we will rebound on Tuesday night, but we did blow a huge chance tonight. And if we lose home ice against the Flyers because of this, and lose all the games in Philly/a game 7 in Philly we can clearly point to this shit game and effort tonight.

Agree ... It was all frustration. They will come out looking like a completely different team Tuesday

The bottom line is that the Rangers still have second place in their control. If they can't beat Carolina who stinks, Buffalo who's the worst and Montreal who might have nothing to play for I don't know what to tell you.

Wasn't it st Louis who fed the pass to Brassard that should have tied it up?

That's it Dis. No more excuses with MSL. He is not getting a lot of chances. Getting knocked off the puck often. Passing too much. And to me not really playing with a ton of energy and passion. He needs to man up and get his head out of his ass.

Big picture you are right Mess. We win the next two at home, and there is NO EXCUSE AT ALL WHY WE SHOULDN'T, and we will be 8 up on the Flyers. Which means we still need 9 of their possible 10 points to finish ahead of us since we have the TB.

Doubt we win at Montreal, but unless Philly goes 9 for 10 we shouldn't have to if we win the next two games. It is still there for us, but tonight 98% would have locked it up.
