The biggest surprise to me is that Al Sharpton is only 59 years old.

I spent an hour reading the smear, griping after every thousand words, "That could have been written in 10 words," and finally got to the bottom. It said there were 2 more super-long winded, boring pages! That ended my reading time.

It's well-researched and backed by FBI records. Since when is that a "smear?" Sharpton was a drug-fiend who hung out with unsavory characters. In order to stay out of prison, he instead became a snitch.

I sure wouldn't want Sly to smirk at me as a conspiracy thinker, for the first time ever. So I'll give you two options.

    1. By coincidence, a bunch of current and former FBI and police, unafraid of prison or being fired, simultaneously fed one reporter an enormous amount of minutiae on their contacts with Sharpton, belittling him for working on their side.

    2. Somebody at the top, who has power over all the guys who talked to the reporter, decided to push Sharpton off a cliff (because he stopped taking orders from the FBI, now that he's Obama's friend and has a TV show?).

Could be. I find it rather brave of Sharpton to be an informant for the FBI, and not at all a negative! It actually makes me respect him a bit.

I take that as a compliment that you're concerned about what I might or might not think about you.

Take a break Sly, I'll do the thinking for you. This special task doesn't seem too taxing.

While the former is true, I deny the latter.

A rule of grammar born when the Saxons fused with the Anglos to birth Olde Englishe is, "The use of the phrase 'mental midgets' ricochets back like a boomerang to a kangaroo when in a Dumbo the Elephant sentence."

I am concerned with what you might, but not with what you omit, think about me.

If you make "might" rhyme with "omit" that is sharp writing. I'm hot tonight.

Maybe, but the nonreligious one of us believes in "Love thy neighbor," while the religious one's mouth waters at the thought of killing large numbers of people.

What's it like to be twice as old as Sharpton?

As long as I outdo him with my James Brown bouffant hair, no one can see my face.

Al Sharpton is a perfect example of what happened to folks who were at Studio 54 every night for a decade. It'll be years before he'll be able to stop talking

Fuck Al Sharpton. If I ever saw him, I'd like to ask him what it felt like to smear excrement on Tawana Brawley and stuff her in a garbage bag.
