So last week I was in Phoenix for a dental convention and I went out a couple of times for wings. Un-friggin-believable wings. Talk about steroid fed chickens! Huge, succulent..... best wings in the world. In Portland I usually hit Fire On The Mountain. The wings are so-so. Sometimes pretty good sized and sometimes complete duds with little to no meat. Same at Wild Wings. But I do like my wings crispy deep fried and not baked and soggy. Aside from FOTM, anyone have a good wings place they frequent?
Game Time in Lebanon has pretty impressive wings. Big, meaty, fresh, etc. If you like 'em REALLY hot, they offer a Ghost Pepper sauce option...
If wings are big and meaty, they were likely pumped with hormones and salt water to increase the mass. They were also grown unnaturally big so that their legs couldn't support their body. :MARIS61:
No, that's James Gang Pizza. Best pizza in the mid-Valley, by a wide margin. Game Time is in a relatively new building in the parking lot of the Old Wal-Mart, right next to Citizens Bank.
new building? In Lebanon? You gotta be kidding me..Thanks Wookee..sounds interesting. When I get that way to see my Father in a few months, I will have to check that out.
I just did FotM wings for the first time last week and was very unimpressed. They were good but nothing compared to even the most average joints down south. Around here I usually just stick to Buffalo Wild as they are good and reliably the same size and flavor every time, spicy garlic all the way.
Same here. Or this. http://news.msn.com/science-technology/swiss-unveil-new-solar-plane-for-global-flight
They're not technically "wings," but the Hawg Wings at Boss Hawg's are fantastic. Huge bbq pork shanks almost falling off of the bone. Very similar to these. Makes you feel like a medieval king at a greasy bar.
If you guys ever find yourselves in Dallas, TX, stop by Cindy's and order some hot wings. That shit is hard to swallow unless you eat fire for a living.
