I would've never predicted this. I was just hoping we would be above .500 before he comes back. Lamar with another strong preformance. Turiaf also.

Yeah, the first half tonight was atrocious, but they picked it up in the second half. Ronny had 21 all coming after halftime, Odom had his first near triple double of the season (he had about 20 last year) with 24/9/9. No one else rally popped out. Bynum got in foul trouble so he could never really find his rythm.

Different people stepping up on different nights it looks like, Bynum against Phoenix and Turiaf tonight, and Odom is playing very well. I just hope when Kobe returns they can keep this up

I'm REALLY impressed of what we've done - and it's only 2 games! Odom has been stepping up - grabbing boards and dishing it to the open man. Walton contributed good, Ronny had an awesome game..

Fakers witho Mr Derp > Fakers w/ Mr Derp.</div> Give me a break...You can't possibly be a worse team with a player like Kobe Bryant on the team. Your being ridiculous. I'm sure the Lakers players cannot wait for Kobe to come back.

The team is really stepping up without Kobe, this is great to see starting the season with 2 wins and 0 losses without him is great, just can't wait til kobe gets back.

The thing that amazes me is that people dont realize how bad that team is without Kobe.Take a look at their lineup, then look at their bench. It's horrible.NO team should have to start Smush Parker, Sasha Vujacic, and Luke Walton.People dont give Kobe enough credit for leading this team.

He almost made his team beat the PHX Suns, just didnt finished up at the end. Kobe is a great player.

"NO team should have to start Smush Parker, Sasha Vujacic, and Luke Walton."I agree with all of that except for Smush. He has already proven that he deserves to start.

Also, they are lucky enough that their first 4 games are against teams with terrible interior defense, because of that, guys like Bynum and Turiaf can look like stars, and Odom can score in the lane very easily.

I told you t hat you'd be replacing Mr Derp witha nother SG. So they wouldn't have to provide quite as many points. Put maybe like Melo or somebody and they'd do better.

Maybe when Kobe comes back and he see that his team can shoot the ball and he will pass it now.
