My neighborhood has drains like that, always wanted to put a fake clown head in one and freak people out.

I really like Drummond. That said, the guy has almost no offensive game outside alley-oops and putbacks. He is really young but future MVP talk is just stupid.

i'm going to have to disagree with placing lillard behind drummond on that list. no shame in being behind anthony davis, though. i like where trob is at. don't think he's ever going to be a starting 4 in the league but he is certainly an amazing energy guy off the bench that can manhandle the vast majority of stretch 4's in the league.

I think he could start for a shitty team. I actually think the guy can produce, he just needs confidence. It's going to take him longer than people expected, and he might never reach the lofty expectations, but I still think he's going to be good.

This didn't deserve its own thread:

Yet another snub, from Bill Simmons this time for Aldridge: http://grantland.com/features/nba-mailbag-this-is-the-end/

And another Dame D shot in the following paragraph.

I like Bill, but he's too much of a reactionary fan to have a ballot.

There's absolutely no way Dirk makes it over LA. No fucking way. That's ridiculous. In fact, the whole third team is just a slap in the face.

Agreed. I'd put LA in place of George on the second team.

It's the year 2014, people still care about BS crapping on the Blazers?

He doesn't crap on the Blazers. He actually likes them a lot and I enjoy his takes. He just shouldn't be given a ballot to make rational decisions.

Should I not have posted that link?

Simmons is right about Lillard's D. I hope Dame works on it in the offseason. He has the quick hands, strength and balance to be a good defender.

Lillard's poor defense is greatly exaggerated. Plus, for Simmons to not even mention LMA is petty and meant solely to rile up Portland fans. He's trolling Blazer fans instead of making a thoughtful All-NBA list. There is no way a player who goes for 23/11 a night on a 52 win team isn't on an All-NBA team.

I agree with your take on Aldridge, but disagree about Lillard. He is a bad defender. There is no question about that. He can get better though. I think his problem stems from playing inferior competition during his college years. He needs another year or two to get his defensive game up to an acceptable level.

I think Robinson has received in pt with what he has earned. For where he was drafted at, this is still a pretty disappointing rank for him. But only he can change it. If it's even possible. He hasn't yet.
