I did not see that coming... Is Greg Oden done for the season? ESPN.com NBA writer Brian Windhorst, who focuses primarily on the Miami Heat, joined Greg Rakestraw on 1070 The Fan Thursday afternoon in advance of the Pacers-Heat matchup on Friday. Windhorst talked about both team's recent struggles, pointing out that since Jan. 1, the Heat have the fourth best record in the Eastern Conference and the Pacers have the fifth-best. Windhorst then talked about Greg Oden, who hasn't played a minute since Roy Hibbert abused the former IndyStar Mr. Basketball in the Pacers' 84-83 win March 26. The reason listed for Oden's absence has been a back issue, and Windhorst says we may have seen the last of the Heat big man this year. "I don't think Greg Oden is going to play the rest of the season to be honest. I think Roy Hibbert broke him."If Oden is done and the Pacers and Heat meet again in the playoffs, Miami will count on Chris Andersen and Udonis Haslem again in attempts to slow Indiana's frontcourt advantage. http://www.indystar.com/story/sport...inn-buckner-indiana-pacers-world-cup/7542449/
I wonder if this guy is going to stick around forever even though he can barely play, like Kwame Brown.
Bending over to take pics of himself probably stressed his lower back quite a bit, another couple years of rehab and he'll sign back up
Good... At least the ghost of Oden will never haunt us. He is what he is... Just a shell of what he could be.
So Greg played a grand total of 22 games. Congrats Greg, you just increased your career games by like 25%.
