Monta Ellis is one hell of a player.

In 22 minutes he got 22pts/3rebs/1stl...What do you guys think of this guy? He's generally in the mold of the Dajuan Wagner's of the world. All this guy does is put the ball in the basket. It's a damn shame that he's too small to play consistantly.

Ellis is better than Dajuan. He's a better shooter, he's a better passer, a better rebounder, and a great defender. Nelson has compared Ellis to Tony Parker already. I think that if Ellis keeps up the production, he can be at least as good as TP.

The warriors have way too much backcourt talent for their own good

The only thing holding Ellis back from averaging 17 and 5 is Baron Davis. But Monta is much better than people think. He's not only a gifted scorer and very quick, but he really is an exceptional perimeter defender. I got Monta on my fantasy team (one of them, I'm in 2 leagues), and people didn't think it was a great pick. I do.

Heck, yesterday he outplayed the best player on his team, was more valuable than the MVP, and had better stats than last year's best statistical player.

I'm sure someone from YOUR point of view would say that. He was definitely the most valuable player out there yesterday though, and had he not been injured, GS would have probably won.
