Solarte but it appears he might be ok. I thought he pulled something but it actually looked his Napoli smacked him in the leg as he was crossing the bag.

    solarte hurt

    teixiera a complete POS

    robertson out

jeter made of glass, now a quad injury, good thing he's hanging it up, it was getting embarrassing

Sure. But calling Jeter an embarrassment is over the top. No different than Ripken's last year.

Actually Dan, Jeter was off to pretty good start this year & he may be okay by Tuesdays game. and Solarte is okay & still in the game. Cheer up my friend.

Jeter is only playing 100-120 games anyway this season.

Beltran is one heck of a hitter. It's too bad asshole Met fans condensed his entire time in Queens to just one AB in the NLCS.

jeter was playing better but it's clear he's a hobbled shell of his former self

better to go out now than to cling to the past and embarrass yourself so I appreciate that he chose now to hang it up

And IMO Jeter will have a better season then Ripkin's final year. (Average wise).

quite a nice recovery for nova - 8 hits but no walks which was critical

he got out of an inning allowing one run on 4 hits so there was definitely some luck as well
