I remember a thread just like this before. You need to quit the Kobe dick-sucking Balla, please. There are very few people who don't rank him in the top 2. Everyone know's he's good.

Also Rodman was not oen of the greatest players of hsi generation, he was a decent player that got a lot of publicity because he was colorful character. And as for Pippen he is oen of the most overrated players of all time. He did so well because he had Michael by hsi side, but as soon as he left Chicago his numbers declinedAlso I at no point have said hes bad, all Ive said is that most peopel overhype him and compare him to Jordan. Hes a top 3 player but I dont think hes better than Bron and Wade. Thats it at no point have I said hes bad. Ive said hes selfish and a bad teammate but nothing else

Take a look at their lineup, then look at their bench. It's horrible.NO team should have to start Smush Parker, and Luke Walton. People dont give Kobe enough credit for leading this team. To lead that horrible team to a 7th seed really blows my mind.People are too busy hating on Kobe Bryant to realize that we are watching one of the greatest players in NBA history.</div><span style="font-family:Book Antiqua">I love Kobe Bryant (no homo). I believe that when he retires, people will speak of him in awe as they do for Michael Jordan currently. I know some of you may disagree with that statement, but I guarantee it'll happen. Instead of wearing MJ jerseys, the next generation will be wearing Kobe jerseys from #8 to #24. Now, I don't want to come off sounding as though I'm Kobe's biggest fan. I'm not his biggest fan... Not even close to being his biggest fan. I just love the fact that he's the greatest player right now and I can watch him. Feels like Kobe is making up for the fact that I missed Jordan's era... I was born when he won his first ring, though.</span>

Every time we talk about Kobe, some bonehead comes in and says something like, "Kobe's an ***hole but he's a hell of a player.". First off, for the last year, almost every single thing comment on Kobe by his teammates is that he's a great leader, he's a great motivator, and a nice guy overall (maybe not so nice when they're in the heat of a game, but you're not supposed to be). I watch all of his press conferences, and most of the time when he talks to the media, I see it. He always gives credit to his teammates, after Game 4 all he could talk about was the clutch play of Smush, and how big the big guys came up. People might say he's just being fake or something in these interviews (which could easily be true) but none of us know Kobe as a person, so they're all we have to base him off of. The only way we can judge him as a person is by what he says to the media and what his teammates say of him. Judging by those two things, he's a nice guy.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (tmgbball15 @ Nov 2 2006, 07:44 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Also I at no point have said hes bad, all Ive said is that most peopel overhype him and compare him to Jordan. On defense he obliterates both of them, he only shows it when it's necessarry, but he has the skill, he's one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. He's better than them on both sides of the ball, what else can he do?
