I would say no to Blackhawks sweeping in the Blues.

id have to agree, although the blues have hit a wall and have fallin off a little at the wrong time. but they should be able to take a game or 2 atleast, and are very capable of winning that series

I really think the Blues are in a freefall. I don't
think they can turn it around. There's always one team
that will sweep in Round 1. I think it will be the Hawks.
Many people think the Pens will sweep the Blue Jackets.
    I don't.

This Flyer series does have me concerned. They have a lot of good talented forwards with grit. Simmonds I love as a player. Hartnell. Voracek. Giroux. Schenn. LeCavalier. Read. All those guys scored 20 or more. Couturier is solid as well. That is 8 really solid forwards.

As usual it comes down to D and goaltending for the Flyers, but I do believe they are more solid there than they have been in a while. Their D is decent this season. And while Mason clearly has to prove it in the playoffs, he has played well for them this season.

I say again, to me this is NOT going to be an easy series.

Red Wings vs Bruins: Bruins in 5 - Euro's are about to get physically dominated, bullied and worn down
Canadiens vs Bolts: Habs in 7 - This is going to be a great series
Flyers vs Rangers: Rangers in 6 - We are going to score goals in this series and we finally are going to win in Philly
Stars vs Ducks: Ducks in 4 - Mismatch
Blues vs Blackhawks: Blues in 6 - I think Kane and Toews will play but are not healthy
Wild vs Avalanche: Avalanche in 6 - Better series than people think
Kings vs Sharks: Kings in 7 - Heart of a champion is the difference

Oh my bad. I actually think CBJ have a shot in this series. Malkin has been hurt. Fleury is a dumpster fire when it counts

I am going to say Jackets in 7

I'd love to see CBJ win that series, but I think it will be tough. Malkin I guess looked great in practice today. MAF is terrible in the playoffs, but I still edge Pitt. But I do agree CBJ has a real shot to pull the upset. In no way do I see a roll over for the Pens. I'd love to see that upset though. Nothing worse than watching the Flyers and Pens in round 2 if we get beat by Philly.

If the Pens and Flyers face-off in Round 2, I'll take my
vacation and get away as far as possible.

Red Wings vs Bruins: Wings in 7. wings clicking at the right time. this is going to be a fantastic series but i can see nyquist powering the wings along as long as they stayout of the box

Blue Jackets vs Pens: Penguins in 6. Blue jackets don't have enough scoring and honestly the penguins will not wait any further then game 2 if MAF really just comes out mentally shook.

Canadiens vs Bolts: Bolts in 7. Simply because i just hate Montreal. but on a serious note. Tampa has overcame adversity all season long and I've always been one to think that lindback can play at a starter level.

Flyers vs Rangers: Rangers in 5. We're going to beat the hell out of philly. AV is the best coach in hockey by far. What he has been able to accomplish with Rorts players is beyond me. I think Marty finally wakes up, zucs brass and pouloit keep doing their thing and the king outplays mason. Now I think it's over in 5 BUT. I do expect a few close ones.

Stars vs Ducks: I honestly want to say stars in 6 but my heart tells me Ducks in 7. This series is going to be a LOT closer then people believe. Benn and seguin are no joke and you can never count out the old guys like gonchar and whitney. BUT in the end the ducks are just too talented all around and unless all three od the ducks goalies crap the bed I think they pull it out in 7 games on home ice.

Blues vs Blackhawks: Blues in 6
HUMPPPPP DAYYYYYYYYYYY. St louis finally beats its older brother because of ryan miller.

Wild vs Avalanche: Wild in 6.
Was never sold on varlemov, I think the wild are hitting their stride at the right time and although the Aves have played terrific hockey I do believe the Wild will prevail bc of their defense and I expect pominville to really have a great series. The wild will control the tempo, and if you control the tempo you control the game.

Kings vs Sharks: Sharks in 7
I think it's time San jose gets over this hump. Quick is solid in Net but I do feel that home ice will be the deciding factor. The Tanks going to be insane.

Crazy that the Wings beat the Bruins in game 1. Imagine if the Bruins ever get beat...the East would be WIDE OPEN for any team really.

I full expect the Bruins to win in 6 tops still, but crazy stuff for the Wings to win game 1.
