It is funny (or sad) that Quick's articles are still being posted in the Ducks section. Maybe that means he will go right back to them after this season. I, for one, hope so!

It was something like that. Quick said something like they asked him to help out again for a while. Freeman is still around though.
If you're gonna come out with something like that, cut the bullshit and tell us who said it. I thought he was above using unnamed sources in his stories. Or so he had said.
I really feel like Dame could be a good defender, but he's just not getting the coaching. The effort is there, which is (in my opinion) 50% of the puzzle. He just needs the fundamentals.
I hate our sports journalism culture here. I hate the Oregonian. I hate Jason quick. I hate john canzano. I would not piss on them if they caught fire. I hope they read this because they are sorry excuses for professionals. I at least can take solace in knowing they aren't paid well because journalism is dying. Good. Maybe when they are homeless in ten years I can walk past them and tell them to suck each other's dicks.
I think what pisses me off the most about the article is the timing of it. Right before the playoffs.

Just so he can say "I called it!" If something goes wrong. Houston fans who might be reading: is your local newspaper as hostile to your team as ours is to the Blazers?
I wonder if Quick realizes Lillard is a second year player who has already accomplished more in the NBA achievement wise then Quick will in journalism.
What Quick should be writing about instead of attempting to call out Lillard with nothing more then pointing out that he makes some pretty stupid decisions on the court at times, is to talk about how Stotts may not be coaching this team correctly when it comes to developing players on both sides of the court and he could point out that sloppy execution usually comes from bad coaching and we have had our share of sloppy execution the last 3 months.
Jason Quick hates covering the Blazers, doesn't he? i remember him talking about it when he switched to the Ducks. Sounds like he needs to choose a different career, like write a novel while traveling around Europe or something, don't need his negativity around us.
I'm fine with stuff like that if there is a source that ISN'T the writer themselves just throwing it out there. But, if it's just something he "sees" that "looks" like it could be something just to get hits and, as is said, stir the pot, then it's equivalent to a regular Mixum post. I find this laughable and completely unprofessional without the (should be) requisite sources needed for confirmation.
