Mike Bibby. Both are about equal scorers, and they score in similar ways. They can both shoot, and they are both very quick, but Bibby has the edge passing wise imo. Both are terrible defenders too..
Bibby is def the better point. He is a point that can score. Terry is a two. Although I will say I have been impressed with the way Terry elevated his game in Dallas, still he is no point guard.
Better point guard? I've always thought that Jason Terry is one of those guys who needs to play the 2-guard spot but wants to convince himself he's a point guard...Nuff said.
Terry is the better shooter but Bibby is better at distributing the ball. I'd give Terry the slight advantage on defense as well but if you want a point guard that distributes well than Bibby is closer to that.
I like Bibby better. Even though Terry is more of a 2 Bibby is still the better scorer imo and is definetly the better passer. Not much else to compare since they are both horrible at D and both have a lot of postseason expirience.
I would certainly have to give the nod to Terry in this one. The only area Bibby might have an advantage is as a pure passer. But Terry is no slouch and he knows how to find his teammates. His jumper is better, his defense is top notch, hes a tad younger and much faster. Plus he has less mileage on his legs. Terry can also attack the rim with force and has an assortment of floaters and "feeler" shots in the lane.
