Troy Murphy's really turned into a pansy in my opinion. He spends too much time on the perimeter, when he first came into the league he was more tough in the post. We all know of Boozers durability and other problems but on the court I like Boozer more because he scores more in the paint like he should. Troy Murphy shoots too many three-pointers and long jumpers.

I'll take Troy Murphy. He can get you as many rebounds as Boozer will, and he might not bang inside all day long, but he will score more points than Booz. He's a good offensive player, and he's got a good jump shot. He may not be the better defender or shot blocker, but hey, he will play a hell of alot more games than Boozer will too.

I'd much rather have Boozers inside offense and post game. On offense Murphy turns into a SF.

I go with a draw on this one. It really depends on how they play this season. But like BCB said it's annoying watching Troy shoot three's knowing what he can do downlow. But then again if he can combine the two together reasonably he could be even better. So I'll get back to you on this one later in the season. Both have injury problems!

I'll take a healthy Boozer any day of the week. Murphy is soft and like BCB said, he spends way too much time out on the perimiter. He doesn't have a very good post game, he is a terrible low-post defender, he gets pushed around. Boozer isn't exactly the best defender in the world either, but he's very strong, can block some shots, is a better rebounder than Murphy, he actually has an offensive post game, and he can hit the 13 footer. He's still improving too, I don't see Murphy getting any better.

Murphy might have the better shooting range, but that's about it. I'd have to take Carlos Boozer too. He's more physical inside, he's a better defender, better rebounder, and is a much better low post scorer. That's what you want out of your PF, not someone who sticks around the perimter and takes too many jumpshots, unless your name is Dirk of course.

I'll take Boozer. He's more athletic, is willing to go bang down low, gets more rebounds, and is just a better player overall.

Carlos Boozer has better decision making skills. Troy Murphy will shoot from a bit beyond the arc when there are 2 guys guarding him. Also, Carlos can score more than Troy can because Carlos has a better offensive game.
