    What do you think that says how the organization feels about Romine? Do they value Romine more and want him to get more playing time in the minors?

    ^^^hard to tell...but I liked what little bit I saw of John Ryan "don't call me J R" Murphy...maybe looking forward, the Yanx may feel Murphy has more upside than the others...depending on what degree strained hammy Cervelli has, it's possible he'll go on the 60 day DL...and if that happens Murphy will get quite a few starts. By then we should know what kind of catcher he is and whether he'll be McCann's successor.
    ...Sanchez and Romine may end up as trade bait.

    ...they are saying that Cervy has a "grade 2 strain" which usually requires 4-6 weeks off.

    I definitely wanted to see more of Murphy so I like the choice as well.

    CC didn't resume baseball activities for 8 weeks last year with his grade 2, definitely see 60 day DL for Cervelli, that essentially means he's not back until ASB.
